I'm feelin' a little meta-discomfort if this ARG experience is not over yet, because then SpartanI013 should not be posting in this thread at all, per UF's TOS.

I really don't know why the PMs are twisting themselves into all sorts of meta-knots like this. I can understand playing with the conceit of TINAGBWPIINMW (this is not a game but we're pretending it is no matter what), but coming to this thread with a representative and basically stating that there is more to come is a breach of this forum's guidelines, and makes it difficult for the players to navigate how to proceed (as has been demonstrated by the confusion in the thread over what to do, who to ask, etc.). Don't be cute with us, you know?

Metacommunication with the players has been an issue with this game since pretty much Day One, and while it's not been a malicious, power-trippy thing on the PMs' parts, imo it hasn't gotten better in a way that inspires me to keep playing.

Yea, what she said.

I wasn't asking that of the PMs/developers. I was asking that of Nyst, since he was the one that first wrote "to dante, from PNT."

I'm not trying to make a big deal of this, but I still haven't gotten an answer to that question.

I'd been under the impression that SpartanI013 wasn't actually part of the development team, but was simply the liaison that the SFTA sought in its newsletter, who has volunteered to help coordinate the not-really-a-PM chat. If my assumption is incorrect, then I agree with you: there aren't a heck of a lot of rules here at UF, so it's kinda important (not to mention just plain polite) to comply with them.

Well I'm back after a hiatus of sorts, but anyway, I submitted a question already, and I'm happy to see prediction come true, I knew it was the prologue, all I'd like to say is, that I (and maybe others) told you so!

Alright well there seems to be some offense taken as to this post and the fact that I am not explaining who the developers are and the fact that I am not one myself. Just to clear some tension up, I am, indeed, not a developer, I am (as mentioned by a member earlier) but a liaison sent by an Intimation community rep. I have not even technologically spoken to the developers at all. I would just like to say I posted this as a sorts of gathering questions for an upcoming Q&A in which the true developers will receive the questions and post them for public viewing in the VERY near future. There was no other intention in posting this thread or even in this forum, I'm merely a volunteer sent on a mission to gather intel if you will. This method of gathering questions was recommended by my contact as well as other forms of gathering questions. As most of you may have seen, in the recent newsletter, my contact info via youtube and Bungie.net, have been posted so those off of these forums have means of sending me questions other than posting in this thread.

This Q&A is an act to continue activity and, not exactly build hype for the upcoming main story, but to promote the attentiveness of the fans and to keep all eyes ready and on the TWTWE website. Not just attentive and ready but curious as well. You never know when the next big event may just be right around the corner. I'm sorry if I broke any rules, as you can see, I'm a new poster to these forums and will admit that I didn't notice any rules to begin with. I would just like to end this post with, please keep sending in those questions, the more the better and the more people understand of what's going on in the plot, the better the next game will be!

Sincere thanks and apologies,

SpartanI013/Darksider13

I'm not so much offended as just ... confused all the time, when it comes to this game. Smile

I think you were super-clear and awesome in your most recent post, Spartan - there's no ill-will between us, no worries!

Sorry for the confusion, it seems I've gone and made up that acronym. While Sys mentioned "primary network tentacle" 27 times, she never said PNT. That would be her way of referring to thewaytheirworldended.com

May make a suggestion?
The way that is posted, that sure doesn't look right as a stand-alone question. No one can tell what the "it" in question is. Plus, it's rather out-of-game now to ask "them" how they built their construct. It's hard enough playing along with this winky-winky situation without confusing the issue of reality. Harumph.

My proposed alternate wording would be:
"Does the SFTA have any further details about the layout of the stonewall maze? Were the nodes in a regular, rectangular crystal structure in relation to each other? Could it be mapped onto physical reality in the form of a model?"

Ok, awesome! Thanks and yeah, I'm trying to avoid as much frustration with anyone as possible. I understand many may be confused by this game and the form of communication that they've been resulting to but I assure you, they're trying to stay as clear and organized as possible so there is no further confusion. Thanks for all of your cooperation and keep those questions coming!

Hey, I had a feeling this was the time to check back on this...just wanted to say, if it's starting up again I would love to be back in. Smile
I slipped out of UF again, simply too much going on right now for ARG. It all depends on when the next one starts.

Um.....I think we are about done for now.
Can we start soon possibly.

Since my first theory for when this starts again didn't happen, I want to now predict it will be on December 3rd.
Based on the fact that's the day that it will have been 100 days since Sys's failed attempt at resync.

I found the Q&A article an interesting read. I think the explanation of how Eridanos got his hands on Anaerin's script was well done...shows us yet again that we really did think essyfan was a real player (hindsight is 20/20).

There is confirmation in the Q&A that there really will be a next phase--and one that the developers seem to really be looking forward to--but that it is still under development & not ready to go just yet.

I am happy for two different reasons:

1. That WAS just the prologue

B: My submission was used for the Veil Initiative! Smile
