There was a kind of hacky-thing going on with MLN, and they just send messages to the people to stop it.

I just decided to do it. Saturday seemed like a good day because those people might be more likely to see it, and because I think some LEGO employees don't work on weekends.

My exciting news just turned into sad news . . .

My computer can't run LU! The graphics card is too low making everything black. *soob sobb* Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Exactly the same problem. I walked through it with the tech support service, and I found I can't do it. I created a minifig, but it got stuck on the loading screen and won't go anywhere with it. Sad

It might still work! I was in the same position last night, the loading progress counter said 100% but nothing happened. I just left it like that for a couple of minutes and the game did eventually start up. I'm not sure what the cause of the delay is, but try again and give it a full five minutes once it hits 100% before you give up.

I'm running it on a dual-booting, last gen Macbook (not even a Macbook Pro!) with Windows XP. If *I* can get it to work, then just about anyone on a PC should.

You have given me hope, good sir. Razz

The 6 codes for mission 1 had already been posted, here they are again:
The Maelstrom
Dr. Overbuild
Duke Exeter
Hael Storm
Vanda Darkflame
Darklings

They are in the video, you just had to translate them. But when you enter them, make them all lowercase with no punctuation.

I actually created an answer image for mission 2, if you really need it.
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/bugefun/bradfordrant/code.jpg

For mission 3, the codes are randomly generated, so you have to complete the sliding puzzle each time. If you need help, here is a good strategy that I posted earlier.
http://quazen.com/games/the-easy-way-to-complete-sliding-tile-puzzles/

I will not tell anyone where the hacking page is, because it is exactly that, a hacking page.

Yeah, I put my score back down. I'm actually not sure if Good-Guy is using the hacking page now, because when he made his higher, it did not instantly go up, but repeatedly refreshing the page, I saw that his score was going up about 2,000 a second. I don't know what type of crazy multi-clicking he is using.

In case someone stumbles upon this and drools at the thought of a beta invite, I can confirm those emails aren't related to pionieer status.

I 2nd that. I'll support you in the ensuing debate when Lego doesn't understand. (Although the Lego people are some of the coolest and most understanding folks out there. They fixed the Retuned Tuning Fork error since I kept giving them distinct details. Guess they really didn't know it happened.)

Cool, I have noticed they fixed the tuning fork. I had sent a help request in MLN about it. Now if they only fixed Raanu's product page for the Bionicles campaign...

 Good bye Alpha, hello Beta!
Good and bad news . . .

For everyone who is a "Alpha tester" (which some mis-called Beta tester) there is bad and good news. I, being an alpha tester, received this email.

Quote:
Dear citizen of LEGO Universe,

Thanks for Alpha testing LEGO Universe. We're close to having reached our goals and last scheduled sessions are as follows:

* Thursday February 4th: 11 AM - 9 PM EST (17.00 - 03.00 CET)
* Saturday February 6th: 2 PM - 8 PM EST (20.00 - 04.00 CET)
* Sunday February 7th: 8 AM - 11 AM EST (14.00 - 17.00 CET)

Soon after, we start Beta testing. More players will be invited to sign up, and we're excited to recruit a mix of brave heroes willing to challenge Maelstrom and help us towards the final developments of the game. Even though the spots are limited all Alpha testers are considered faithful team members, so no need to worry. Just be ready to answer the call, a new activation key will land in your inbox before too long.

All characters plus accounts created in our Alpha test will no longer exist once LEGO Universe Beta begins. So please note that your current Friends and Family LEGO ID will no longer be valid. Use your overall LEGO ID to create a new LEGO Universe account. If you only have your Alpha LEGO ID click here to create a brand new LEGO ID.

For more Alpha test information go to https://universe.lumini.lego.com/.

See you soon in LEGO Universe.

Sincerely,
Team LEGO Universe

To correct my earlier post: alpha invite.

As for that email, I'd say I find the news rather exciting, not being in the alpha. I thought that phase would last a lot longer.
