[UPDATE] Final 'Postal' Mailing From D. Meyers

Ambassadors (and maybe others) should expect their last package via FedEx. In it you find the things I posted in the spoiler below, in case anyone wants to be surprised. I think many will be pleased Smile.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Final thank you and farewell from D. Meyers
Map of full scale Naaczaal location
2 Naaczaal Blueprints: Countdown Timer and Glass Board Map
A Thank You letter from Sony Pictures for participating
A Sony Pocket Edition Reader with Farewell Atlantis' 1st Chapter and 11 other offerings, including full books and excerpts. Judging by the dates, they're the default inclusions of the Reader.

Wow that is a lot of school stuff. How did you find out about it? It looks like things that players will get, those who solved puzzles etc. But the Pocket Reader, that thing might be expensive to send to alot of people. I will be waiting by the door just in case. How cool!

is it bad that I am really REALLY hoping that the candidates will also receive one of these packages because my wife has wanted an e-reader for forever and I could just hide it and wrap it up for christmas?!?!?!?

I received a single tube mailer with the following:

Map of the Naaczaal build location
Farewell letter from Meyers
Letter from Sony thanking me for my participation as an ambassador.
1 schematic of the map wall.

I DID pick up one of the drop packages and identified myself as such in an email to CT, so perhaps they're being selective in who get's what and consider my getting a phone to be a substitute for the reader.

You mean the playstation and video camera weren't sufficient prizes from being a candidate? Please, send them my way if that's the case!!!! Laughing

The ambassadors for being in the top 11 should have already got a webbie camera and a PS3, so I hope the readers bonus package come to those that maybe solved the puzzles and sent the solutions to CT like Rowan, Dave, Celina and I.

But we have no confirmation that the info above abou the readers are correct yet, no one has received a package with one yet. Only one confirmation of one without.

COOL Shocked

I don't usually suffer from Prize Envy, but THIS is something I would LOVE.

**Still holding tightly, and hopefully, to that lottery ticket I printed the day the game was launched. Almost exactly one year to the day** Wink

edit: pssst, Sony, did I mention my birthday is next week??? Very Happy

I'm at work right now and won't be home until late tonight, so it'll be at LEAST 7 hours before I could do anything. I can scan the letters, as they're regular sized. I'll have to take a photo of the map and the wall display plans, as they are larger than a regular sheet of paper. I'll check before posting them to see if anyone else puts them up, but I will do what I can and get them uploaded as soon as I can.

The documents are available to view via Charlie Frost over at This Is The End

EDIT- Received a package. Same as Lightning257 described... a tube with the documents enclosed. The map and schematics can be viewed at the above link; I've scanned and attached the letters (from Sony Pictures and Douglas Meyers) below.

I received my package today as well - no Sony E-Reader for me, sadly, but still cool. Was also hoping for tix to the movie... ah well Smile

I'll have pics up on Flickr later tonight, but they're the same as Charlie's... just got some closeups of the writing and drawings that maybe we can make some sense of.

Got home to find the Sony Reader and a package from D Meyers-
containing a map of China- and a letter listing the location of the "full scale construction" of Project Naaczall. about to pour over it...

I wonder if that might be the distinction between who gets the reader and who doesn't - I signed up as an ambassador pretty late in the game, so perhaps they're rewarding those who were with them from the beginning.
