 		My theories about the Matrix and this game
Hi,

First of all, I'm not a native English speaker. So, sorry for the mistakes I could make.

This theory assumes one thing: This game is directly related to the movies and was done by people knowing the whole thing behind this trilogy (do not feed the troll Wink )

Here are the facts (some of them may lead to bad conclusions):

- We have evidences of paranormal events and some strange green lights. So this game takes place into the Matrix.
- Thomas Anderson worked (or still work) for Metacortex. So it takes place after the beginning of the first movie.
- Neo is the 6th anomaly. So there were others before.
- Smith Agent managed to come into the real world although he is a computer program (kind of virus). And Neo got some powerful powers at the end of Matrix Reloaded. As these powers are near to what he kan do in the Matrix, I think that this is still a program.
- Metacortechs is working on a projext that will simulate reality. It really sounds like a Matrix-like project.

So here is what I think: There is a stack of matrices! Neo is not the 6th anomaly in terms of chronology, but in terms of levels!

In top of all that, there is the real world. No informations about it yet. In this world, a Matrix was created (maybe nearly as explained in the movies or Animatrix). In this Matrix, things happened as in the real world: Another Matrix was created inside the first one. And so on...

Neo in in the 6th level of Matrix. He managed with other rebels to go up to the 5th level.

You think I'm not talking anymore about this ARG? You're wrong Wink

In this game, we are seeing the genesis of the 7th level of the Matrix through the creation of Metacortex.

Maybe this company is alreading doing some tests with people. They could have already created this 7th level. And then the hackers we're following through this game are in fact programs that are trying to get into what they think as the real world (the 6th level).

The document they let could also be some evidences of the fact they came into this level where we are. They seems to be really simple or naive sometimes, but it could be really different from the world Metacortex created for them. They use these places to communicate and give proof of the *real world* to other people in the same level they are.

In fact these hackers are just like Neo, Trinity, Morpheus,.... are in the movies.

Metacortech ex-CEO could simply have discovered what some people in this society made and then he became a problem as he wanted to stop the program. The fact his disparition is mysterious and that kind of Matrix modifications (paranormal things from our point of view) leads me to another hypothesis.

It isnecessary for a Matrix to have another Matrix inside it. It could be useful to generate more energy. So the machines controlling Level 6 Matrix have to let Level 7 Matrix been created. They then modified their Matrix to make James Avery disappear.

I am maybe going too far with this last theory, I will so stop there Wink

 		Heehee, that was a fun read. Cool idea...I'd argue that your first assumption is probably wrong, that this *isn't* made by anyone who knows how Revolutions will end. So, as a theory about the Matrix, nah...but if that's how the ARG ends up progressing, I'd be pretty happy. I like how you actually pulled things together into a coherent theory.

Ah, yes, but he was very careful in stating that it was just an assumption. He knows very well the arguments going on here about the unofficial/official ARG controversy.

(Recently, I have hard evidence to believe it's one of the two. So you wont be seeing me too much arguing whether I think this is an official Matrix ARG or not)

But I do like Tian's scenerio, now what if the game werern't an official Matrix ARG. Theories? Anyone?

 		Maybe this game is funded directly by one of the bros. (Andy ?). You know. They ended their work with matrix. Now they are ( or one of them is) on vacations having fun ( with us ) Twisted Evil

 		Sorry to post this here if it's not at place but it's related to matrix movie...


First, i have watch matrix yesterday (i love seeing matrix and matrix reloaded in a block) and i remember Thomas Anderson aka Neo talking with is boss in M1 when he is at job. He talk with mister Regenhardt. But mister regenhardt is a old guys and not black!

Now when i did go in metacortechs directory and look for mister regenhardt, david well the picture they show is a black strangely looking like tank. It let me think that if it's not related with the movie, maybe they related it to the comic .... Well for sure, this game is under Wbros and watchowski bro supervison.

 		Neo's boss's name in M1 is Rhinehart, not Regenhardt. Very Happy Two different people. This would explain why they don't look the same...
Also, I don't know where you're getting your last statement from, but I'm not going to bother arguing...makes no difference anyway. Confused

I know you haven't, but I thought I'd just ask before anyone did. Same goes for those reviews and things that have been posted...I (and many others) haven't read them in their entirety and don't plan to until Nov. 5th (that lovely, beautiful day...) Mr. Green

I have to admit I found no spoiler or something this awesome in this video. But maybe I didn't catch everything because of my english level Wink

And everything I could have said before is only speculation. It is why I didn't use spoiler tag.
