Maybe they could do one about the girl who could've lived when she went in the 'copter trying to find out the truth after the government convinces her not to talk about it. Ooh! Maybe she goes to find the guy from the bridge. [Forgive me. It's been a while since I saw the movie.]

I noticed that Book of Eli's release is extremely close to the 18th... An apocalypticesque movie... hmmm? I know its Warner Bros but don't they cross teasers?

and I miss these forums as well. All of the great minds searching for new Clover Clues provided for some very fun reading. I still check back every so often in hopes of some major news from our favorite monster.

Naming the project "The Battle of LA" really wouldn't make sense.

The "Battle of LA" is actually based on a real incident in the 40's where a UFO was over LA and photographic proof if it being shot at by the military is widely available. The military later said that it was "nervous" as an attack from Japan was immanent. It's a great idea to base a movie on.
But the government would NEVER lie to you!

It's interesting he went out of his way to mention Cloverfield 2 as the article suggests. "It's in it's early stages". Isn't 500 Rads scheduled to commence filming in April? I found that really interesting he mentions it without probing AND with so many other things on his plate (Lost, Fringe Star Trek 2).

Aside from my speculation, lets take comfort in his recent quote:
"We're working on something right now with that and again, you know, it's early stages."

Sweet.

sp103, J.J. isn't really involved a whole lot with Lost anymore. Who knows how involved he is with Fringe really since he directed only a handful of episodes. [Mainly in S1] So in my opinon, I think he's got plenty of time to think up Cloverfield 2.
