I wish the whole "I need to get out of here TTA KNOWS WHERE I LIVE" thing was a next stage in interactivity, and players could give J invitations to stay at their place to lay low. How rad would it be if J would show up at your doorstep one night, dead tired and terrified, and then a few hours later you can find TTA's actor hiding in the bushes..watching...


...Knowing me, I'd likely run out and hug him, completely ignoring J, and tell him how awesome I thought he was.

Though that would probably make PMs never, ever want to do that again. It's creepy fangirls like me that give us real reasons to fear.

 		I wonder if totheark's next response will be footage from Masky's perspective in this vid. I guess it would explain "smile for the camera," especially if this had been going on for a while, and J had no idea.

EDIT: I checked the dates for the videos. Messages was a week ago. J mentions Entry 19 came from footage from a week ago... Shocked

 		OOHHHHHHKKKAAAYYY. Well, waking up at three in the morning, PITCH BLACK in my room, only to hop onto this fine forum and click the link to entry 19.......yeahhhh, brix weren't shat. More like cinder blocks. WOW.


Alright, now to speculate. I would seriously take into consideration Messages. TTA says, "smile for the camera." So, what do we get? Masky up close to the camera! It makes me think, now more than ever, that Masky is NOT TTA, so much as Masky is against TTA, and was taunting him by giving him a close up shot.

Also, I have to wonder if TTA isn't protecting J.... here's little theory I cooked up while reading this thread, and bear in mind, it's just an 'off the cuff' type thought, and probably full of holes, but it doesn't hurt to consider.. I'm kind of thinking things went down like this:

Alex gets stalked by Slendy, as we've seen. He disappears, after giving his tapes to J.
he becomes Masky/TTA, who is corrupted by Slender man, and... partially insane, but not under Slendy's control, or evil.

Now, he's trying to keep J safe from Slenderstalking by watching over him when he's the most vulnerable, and maybe using some kind of... Slenderpowers to control J and lead him away when he expects Slenderman to show up for him.

I think the initial 'corruption' of TTA by Slendy may have resulted in him developing something resembling Slenderman's abilities/qualities or.. what have you. I'm really not sure there, but he does seem to have qualities similar to those of Slendy.

The Signal video seems to point towards this somewhat though; looking at it now, it looks like a sort of a combination of a warning about Slendy (especially when you look at it knowing the theme of the source material for the audio), and a promise of protection... as many others have said, TTA 'surrounded his bed', quite literally, which seems to be a fairly direct reference to what was said in that video.

Now, my other thought, which is fairly obvious in hindsight, but which I don't think anyone has mentioned yet, is that... well, in entry 18, everyone basically assumed that J lost time due to contact with Slendy, but given this video, his missing time would seem to be connected directly to TTA, whether he was seizuring or not, so theories about J's missing time need to be reconsidered as well...

Anyway, the video was creepy and awesome and bricks were indeed shat. I'm going to go watch it another dozen times or so and see if anything new jumps out at me.

Yes, it could be plausible. Tim, gallavanting around as Masky, could be trying to protect J from the influence Slendy has over Alex (Slendy influence? lol. Makes me laugh).

Yeah, I dunno, I still think it's TTA. There's a lot more going in favor of that theory than against it. It could easily enough be that TTA was telling J to "smile for the camera" because he knew that he was taping himself all the time. Just another indication that J's secret involved film.

I actually think it is the scarier behaviour of the whole entry...

This video will open lots of questions for me (really I'm no to so experienced in ARG debating)...but this behavior is far beyond stalking, that guy is definitely mocking J.
(You know, see me I'm here while you're sleeping and you cannot do nothing about that).

Btw excellent twist...

Edit: I do not think masky is at J's window at 1:44...

my thought is Alex is TTA & Masky

we all know slenderman emits some kind of radiation which disturbs recording equipment, and alex was seeing him for a while, perhaps constantly recording/having encounters with slenderman means alex too emits some kind of radiation now, a sort of slenderman defence mechanism to ward off people seeking him...

1. This would explain why TTA videos are so cryptic, he cannot just upload recorded videos, due to the interference he gets

2. Also explain why, when masky was shown, the same kind of distubance is seen

3. he (TTA/Masky/Alex) hid himself away from the world, knowing that he can no longer record what is happening to him, and the radiation might affect others around him

maybe J's sickness is him being affected by this radiation also, he has been having slight medical problems ever since TTA came along, TTA might have started the slenderman mythos on the internet to find others who had seen him (i know its ARG, but this is just a tied-in theory) which made J upload the marblehornets videos because of the incredible coincidence, which is something Alex/TTA never wanted.... TTA knew who it was, so went to his house/started following him

perhaps when J was alseep, alex, who, affected by years of this radiation doesnt affect things like porchlights/alarms, they might not detect him due to his electronic interference

this also might enable us to know why Js versions have messed up audio, TTA was hiding close by, watching what J uploaded, then TTA himself, waited for J to sleep, uploaded the missing audio, perhaps by knowing originally where it was on the tape, or, he knows himself what effect his body has on the tapes, so he knows how to extract the audio

TTA/Alex wants to scare J away, he has been unsuccesful so far, so he has donned the mask to hide his identity, but be a little more physically persuasive

perhaps Alex put dead animals outside his own house during HIS blackouts, we all seen what he was drawing, maybe thats why the slendermen are never found, the people who do see them are slowly turned into one, until they have to hide in the forests, but with the advent of GOOD recording equipment nowadays, maybe we are finally able to catch a glimpse
perhaps Alex stopped putting dead animals outside his house
perhaps he moved onto children
maybe this is how slendermen are born

 		My biggest problem with TTA being Mask is Addition. It seems that Mask fucks with electronic equipment. Addition, besides the clicking and strange filter, was pretty flawless.

Also, I know I've been frothing at the mouth about how unsubtle MH is, but I'm still pretty well convinced that TTA and Mask are two different people.

Also, the masked figure messes with the camera.
TTA was apparently filming J in the abandoned house without the camera messing up.

Somebody should message J to ask him if that's significant, just to see if it matters in game.
Also, since TTA seems to reply, we should also ask his thoughts on the masked figure.

maybe there was more to that video, maybe the unintelligable stuff was edited out, he might have been recording from the moment J left his own house, there is no recorded audio, maybe the reason for the filter put over it?

he shown what he needed to, he was watching J
and it still never put him off, so he said come back
then he attacked him

perhaps he has given up warning him, perhaps now he is gonna show J how deep the rabbit hole ACTUALLY goes
