J has been saying house, but the style of the room in 19 makes me think apartment. Unless he rents a room in a house.

I'm certain that there's a face in the window both times. When I bring up all three scaps in paint shop pro for comparison, there is a face in the two later shots that isn't there in the beginning. I'm 100% certain that the first time is Masky. The second one is a different position, as others have pointed out, which I'm sure could be them showing that Masky has moved and things have happened since the first time. The second face could be Slenderman, for all I know, but I'm positive that that it is a face there.

Edit: I just watched Entry 18 again and I do hear the cue at which J turns around, but it sounds more like a breath than someone saying "Boo.". Definitely something, though.

I believe TTA is benign because he's never actually shown anything like hostility towards J. He's posted creepy videos, and the meaning behind most is pretty unclear. But his role has always been (As I interpreted it), a messenger/observer. Twice he's posted footage of him recording J, once he's put up stock footage from MH (I assume so, anyway), and twice he's put up a pretty direct message.

We've only seen two encounters with Mask, but the first was pretty direct. Got a charging tackle in on J. The second one... a little less hostile, it seems. Mostly observing J in his sleep. Oh, and J disappears for a couple of hours without remembering.

I don't know. I know as I type this out, it seems like its possible that Mask/TTA are one in the same, but I just feel like that Mask is just a little too direct to be TTA. The correlation between Mask/SM (Correlation does not equate causation, I know, I know) just seems too much for me to ignore, and seems to be against TTA's agenda (Whatever it may be).

Yea, I noticed the walls too. OOG it could be a dorm room, or a room in a school dressed up to be a "bedroom".

I was reading this thread and the one about the meaning of to the ark and I think we're getting so close here.

Think about the progression (once laid out as linearly as possible) of Alex's videos. Curiosity > Nervousness > Paranoia > ? this matches the ark (no pun intended) of J's quest. J Starts off curious, starts to get nervous by what he sees then the paranoia sets in with the self tapping, and the last (chronologically speaking) video we see from Alex has someone someone (SM?) enters Alex's room just like this latest video of J.

What if TTA is a "Renfield" type character, a pawn of what we call Slender Man? The Slender Man mythos always seems to have at its core that if you know about Slender Man it's already too late. Perhaps SM can only survive if people know about him and he chooses his victims. The last victim always "infecting' the next and so on and so forth. Becoming the ark or vessel to keep the SM entity alive.

To me that explains the mixed bag actions of TTA, going from seemingly benign and childish to creepy and hostile. Also as pointed out in the other thread it makes TTA's name...ToTheArk translate to To J. ToTheArk stops being a user name and starts being a salutation to J the next victim.

what was the blood in the sink for in 16 and the bullet casing. i can see what you mwan by infecting ppl. but maybe alex was the first to try and put a stop to it. ok he see's entry 14, he does what J does, he locks all the doors and windows, he gets a gun keeps it on him through out the house he gets stressed cuts himself, then SM comes along and attempts to shoot him misses and SM starts mind controling him. turns him into masky and then entry 18 and 19 come into play.
