Well, it's hard to believe this is pure spam because of the typical argish nature of the email content Laughing but I got this email today... thoughts?

My sister she's tracking me! Help! I need to hold her off until the citizens are safe.

Here's a sight for a map of Tripoli that might come in handy, but 130 years will really change a place. The basic structure is still the same.

 		To be honest the entire email had me BAFFLED beyond belief lol. But, I'm going to stick around b/c it's the first ARG I've come across just starting in a while.

It might be because I'm tired but I can't figure head nor tails of the map either... lol.

Go, then Dig? "Digg it" perhaps? or not?

All I can make out is that "2137" built a heapload of AI's - All but 3 of which have turned on "2137" including the one apparently contacting you/us (s022773)

These 'rogue' AI's (specifically s022773's "sister") are apparently trying to kill-off civilization, a rise-of-the-robots kind of deal by all accounts... As for which questions to ask s022773, I'm totally stumped. But, I'm going to give it a go, if that's cool?

EDIT: TOTALLY Flopped on that one, it says "But by" not built by. Hence the YEAR he refers to is 2137... Should I be playing this that we're future bound or that we're being contacted through time b/c he does also mention that the map seems to be "130 years" in the future...

I love how future AIs have been given the ability to produce grammatically cringe-worthy dialogue and plaintext formatting; makes them seem that much more...human Wink

guh. What's the warning? The question? yay for brain tricks, I really don't have dyslexia =P... So, I don't know how to read that: Is it a question? Is it a statement? Is the warning that she has sent an email, or that she will?
I can't find any so2771 in my mailboxes, so I'm assuming she hasn't emailed.


The reply above seemed to draw attention to the map again, and re-iterated "That Alemad Tower" - anagram?


EDIT: "That Al-Emad" is an area in Tripoli... That Al-Emad Towers looks like condos - link
Or alternate spelling Dhat El-Emad Towers (of which there are 5)

 		I think perhaps this is the wikimapia item to look for "That Alemad Tripoli", at the same tower entry location linked above. No info, likely created for this. The request was to find a nearby tv station.

ETA: Libyan TV Station? It's been around for at least 2 years, but it might be the nearest

 		You've also got to remember though... s022773 is emailing us from 2139. He/She/It knows we're in 2009 and has explained it's a complicated thing to go further into at this point in time. So there are going to be completely different things in those places now, more than likey... As s022773 explained.

But yes, the TV station sounds about right.

I'm going to fire off an email to the 7th and see what we get; as well as waiting to see if Snorkle gets any relevent information.
