Accomplice: The Show

Has anyone else ever taken the Accomplice tour in NYC? I live in Brooklyn and my husband and I went and loved it. I'm not related to the Accomplice people in any way, but I recommend it highly to anyone who is into ARGs, but may have friends, family, significant others that don't play. Its a ton of fun for any group even if you don't know each other. It starts with a phone call with a meeting location. The early diversions and false clues are fun. Its high interaction and some of the in game actors are silly, and the puzzles are not hard because you don't really have the option of getting stuck (you're in a group and HAVE to finish). There was only one code we had to crack. The storyline is great though! It runs about 3 hours.

Back in the day, I loved internet click throughs like Mystery of Space and Time and other stuff along those lines. I recently played the Errant Memory ARG tutorial and followed parts of Find 815. But my husband never got my attraction to logic puzzles and ARGs. After he did the Accomplice show, he's been talking about getting in on the new Lost ARG (but he just doesn't have the tech skills to do it sadly.)

In any event, if you happen to visit this fair city...

So much better than waiting in line to go to the top of the Empire State Building.

Looks really interesting.

Here's Neil Patrick Harris talking about the Hollywood version:
