[Meta] Reporter
I'm writing an article on ARGs

Hello all,

I am writing an article on Alternative Reality Games for the Rochester Institute of Technology's student-run magazine, the Reporter. MarbleHornets is one of the games I'll be featuring, and I was hoping to interview a couple of players for my article.

I would prefer local college students or college-age, but it's not imperative that you be either. Gender doesn't matter (a good mix would be nice, but not necessary). I would also prefer that you be actively involved in MarbleHornets right now.

If you're interested, please PM me with preferred contact info and information about any games you are playing / running.

Thank you for your time

-Ory Ballenger

OOG: It's not really even so much a game as it is a speculation hutch for a group of videos that one kid's group of friends have done.

If you want any real answers, go ask J, you can contact him on Youtube, or on SomethingAwful forums as Ce Gars.

Yea. It's not really a game. I mean, there have been some clues as stuff in the form of the TTA videos, but no one's really been successful in decoding them... and if they have, there's no way to know if they were right at all.

Honestly, MH would probably be more appropriate for an article on how viral videos are a medium for entertainment and freelance directors (I guess, anyway). I mean, the length for all the videos are up there in an hour length, give or take. It's approaching the length of Cloverfield, except they haven't blown up the Brooklyn Bridge (Not yet, anyway).

Fuck. I had a stalker who lived in Greece and went to school in Rochester. (Not sure which school, though). I'm taking my gun to bed with me tonight.

Also, I'd like to point out that J very rarely answers messages sent to him. That's a pretty undependable route to go for information.

But he does reply. If he could get publicity of any sort, I'm sure he might.

That being said, as everyone else said, MH is hardly an ARG in comparison to things like the first Halo one and the NIN one and that other Halo one and then the ones I never paid attention to. Oh right, the Lost one! That one was great...
