I'd be more inclined to think troll if he was on /b/. He's on /x/ where a lot of the time there's talk of Slender Man, however I do agree he might be a troll.

Keeping in mind that guests probably get frustrated in wading through new threads, and that the unfiction forums are different from regular forums in that instead of making new threads, most of UF's forums try to keep things tidied up. I don't know if it's such an issue here where MH is on a break, but I think that people who are just getting interested in the series and who just found the forums shouldn't be ridiculed so carelessly. Having that be the first impression that they get of the fandom (fandumb, in a mild way) is a nasty way for us to behave.

Besides, having fewer threads means that newbies have a better chance of finding and reading the relevant, on-topic threads, which then means that they'll be less likely to re-post theories that so enrage a minority of our number. In theory, anyways!

And besides, linking to 4chan is foolishness. Threads get deleted in a few hours, especially on an active board like /x/.
