Hmmmm...interesting...a mysterious old "protective" figure, a young woman with family secrets she doesn't even know about, and the whole thing being set in England so I don't have to stay awake till ridiculous hours to not miss anything?

Though all i've gotten so far is Vlad is desperate to find Van, who's run off with documents which he needs for some unknown reason - other than saying its a 'matter of national security'. He seems to enjoy belittling and making fun of those he's in contact with, and sees this entire operation as a game of chess sort of, placing all of the pieces on the board before the game can begin.

Miss anything important in there?

Oh and one more thing. In Vanessas tweets she mentions going to the states and to Australia. The two places other than England where we (the players) live.

I highly doubt she's going to run off.
I think - like when a kid bitches about strict parents and wants to run away from home - it's just talk because she's emotional.

We need to keep her in Greenwich, or at least the UK.

I'm split on Vlad being the bad guy.
He seems stalkerish and obsessed, but, I also think he may be trying to keep V safe. Now, I know he has his own ulterior motives. But, what if he's not the bad guy?

This John guy. He started asking her about her uncle - by name - when she had never mentioned it. When I've brought John up to Vlad, he acts like he's just an annoying boy and a distraction. I don't think they're working together, meaning there's another force in this.

What if Vlad IS trying to help her?

Well, me bringing up John was from yesterday. I didn't bring him up today. He was offline when she posted the bit about John being a liar. I don't think - at the time - he thought the guy was of importance.

I've been feeding him - as I said - partial information. Edited information. Giving him just enough. And.. it seems that he knows quite a bit about this stuff. It seems that he knows enough to piece together the parts I've been leaving out.

Earlier V said she doesn't care that he has the info - since she doesn't care if her uncle dies and all that shit (probably just rage from the letter she read.).. so, I don't feel as bad sharing with him, but, at the same time - I'm not giving it all.

I think the King is going to be his right hand man. He mentioned that he needs help solving calculations and he needs someone smart and that he can trust. I feel he keeps pushing for me or Jim to be the king. I don't know if we're the only 'active' males in this, or if we're the two he trusts, but I practically told him I don't want to be the king, because the king is the one with a massive target painted on him. I told him also that i probably won't score high enough. He told me that it doesn't matter - that even if I'm not the king, someone who knows his literature (which I've been bullshitting for the most part. I'm a good reader... but being well read is a different story.) and is good with words is needed. He recommended that I learn to read cursive, because it would come in handy. (I think I'm going to take him up on that advice, because I feel like a moron for not being able to.)..

So I think either way, Jim and I are going to be his key contacts.

any way, done with my ranting for now.. i'm still trying to work some stuff out.

Shut up Telos, by the way all this speak of wolves reminded me of an old stratejic teaching game my dad used to play with me called sheep and wolf. It is played on a chess board and using chess pieces i.e 5 pawns and a king.
