new way of Iding pics?

http://www.gazopa.com
Running the "Vladwat" pic at the moment, site will find similar images, possibly being derailed by background image, but might be useful elsewhere.

Hmf, can't id that, ran Vlad's ID pic, led to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Nabokov who studied and kept cupboards full of male butterfly genitalia.... he disagreed with the modern ID/ DNA techniques and stuck to the lepidopterists way of identifying butterflies by looking at their bits under a microscope..... whatever floats your boat I guess.
So, the butterfly....

In Nabokov's novel "Pale Fire", a Red Admiral lands on John Shade's arm the minute before he is killed. That butterfly also appears in "King, Queen Knave" writen under his pen name, V. Sirin, killing off (figuratively) those characters . Source

Nabokov is quoted in his notes as calling the Red Admiral butterfly, the Butterfly of Doom

ETA: The top right hand corner extra words in the new knights' photo are:

Freshwater=a district in the...

Similar

Similar relationship between Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) and Alice Liddell?
"author, mathematician, logician, anglican deacon and photographer"
Another ecclesiastical reference?
The LOLita thing would explain partially why Vlad was quite so concerned about "John" and his interest in Vanessa, if he turns up dead... well, lets say I won't be suprised. Her remarks regarding lolcats could be referernce to this, but I could be reading too much into that.

"Claire" is the French feminine adjective for "clear."
Meaning:
Clear; bright; famous

Butterfly of Doom! Heh heh.

I think it's a stretch. There was never any proof whatsoever that Dodgson had any kind of inappropriate attraction to Lidell. It was all speculation and rumor. Secondly, Vanessa is a 29-year-old adult, not a child like Lidell or Delores. Third, he doesn't even really know Vanessa, just her family.

Vlad's questioning of me regarding "John" seemed more concerned that he may be with an organization trying to gain the documents. I haven't told him yet about John finding Claire, but I imagine his reaction would be similar.

She doesn't seem to act like a 29 year old.... possibly inviting strangers to her home to help with a computer? Randomly asking strangers on the net to help with uploading stuff?
*shrug*

Dates of chess master Ludwig: 22 November 1904 – 14 February 1983

Dates of music critic Ludwig: April 13, 1799–November 27, 1860.

Vladimir mentioned missing Ludwig at some point...methinks, since he is a mere man, he knew the chess master and not the music critic.

Remember, his Facebook message says:

Vladimir Sirin on Facebook wrote:
As a Grave men, near death, who sees with blinding sight, I will bid farewell to you all. If I survive the next 78 hours I will return. If not, heed my words and read between the lines, under the lines, around the lines. Look for patterns. It is not enough to find the man who's name is Ludwig for example, you need to unravel the link [s] between him and the pictures. Pieces. I will be here until 1.12pm. Then two questions finalised. Then the 13 candles are needed and I will prepare myself for the biggest battle - such a little time....Alone it seems as none understand the music yet.

(emphasis mine)...so is it enough that I have found not only Ludwig the music critic, who is connected to the picture of Lake Lucerne & the picture that has his portrait included in it, but also the German chess master, who is connected to our game as a whole because he plays chess?

Don't know - it looks like there may be more perhaps going through it all? We know his name [or their names?!] - but link to the pictures - how many pics are there? Soemthing Jams posted about it not just being chess sticking with me.
If we put all the stuff he's said through a wiki? i dunno - just grasping at straws and stuff - excellent find with lake lucerne - that site is gonna be useful I think!

The bar of music seen behind Ludwig's portrait on the picture in Vladimir's FB note does not appear to be from Moonlight Sonata.

Edit: Ok, I figured out why the note is titled "Girls Hindered With A Cherubic Frill"...not sure if that means that note is totally solved or not, though, as I don't see why that connects to 12:2, "I'll name that in a B!", or the music notes behind the portrait:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The full name of the music critic was Heinrich Friedrich Ludwig Rellstab, which is a perfect anagram of Girls Hindered With A Cherubic Frill.

Edit 2: I have made comments on the sailboat-on-a-lake photo basically giving away that I'd identified the song he was talking about (Moonlight Sonata):

Quote:
Easier to listen in the moonlight...though I've read that song was actually supposed to be a funeral lament.

Quote:
Hey, look at that, I actually have that song on CD (it's part of EMI's "the most relaxing classical album in the world...ever!" double CD). I believe I'll sit back and listen right now...I could use the relaxation Smile.

His response:

Quote:
M.S. is not always a relaxing peace. Apt you have noticed it is a funeral lament amongst other things... What a way for 568 to die...

...so is he now saying that it is indeed 568, or is he only saying that because 568 is the number associated with my "board"?

Makes perfect sense and also explains why we couldn't find any word anagrams for it, since it's a name, lol.

Good work again Very Happy

Everything makes sense in retrospect... /sigh.

Any way, good work Very Happy

Anyone have any idea on what "NGBHIETNTSANSHTEUHSEADHNGTEIS" is?
I had the same problem with anagram sites - way too many results.

This is an excerpt from the Wikipedia Coventry Blitz article. The pics alone are devastating.
Quote:
The (Luftwaffe) attack, code-named Operation Mondscheinsonate (Moonlight Sonata), was intended to destroy Coventry's factories and industrial infrastructure....The raid destroyed or damaged about 60,000 buildings the centre of Coventry, and is known to have killed 568 civilians

Further, there's a section on "The Ultra Secret", a 1974 book which posited that advance intel on the attack was ignored by the British government....

Didn't Vlad pose a strikingly similiar question to Telos at one point?
