Having trouble following this. People referring to the albums of chess pieces. Clearly I am out of the loop. However, I can offer this.

King, Queen, Knave is a novel by Nabokov, under the Vladimir Sirin pseudonym.

Speak Memory is an autobiography by Nabokov.

As has been noted, Nabokov was both an avid chessplayer and fan of Lewis Carrol. He was fond of puzzles and included some cryptography and puzzles in his writing. He was, of course, a butterfly collector.

Given the themes of Lolita, and the much more modern association in internet lor of exploited children as "butterflies" (i.e. the alleged Project Monarch) it might not be off base to suggest that Sirin is a butterfly collector of a different sort. To rescue, or dispose of, I do not know.
Nabokov was also a synaesthete, associating numbers with colors which might be relevant at some point.

I just did a quick search for "balance" at http://biblegateway.com & found he could also have meant Proverbs 16:11: "Honest scales and balances are from the LORD; all the weights in the bag are of his making." (New International Version)

Vlad mentioned THREE bible verses being in his wall post at the end of our chat, so the third is likely Revelation 20:10: "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

 		In case anyone was wondering, I notice the message about Malory's circle was only sent to people who are a "piece" on the boards, not all Vlad's friends (so, for example, ironnikki didn't get it).

The knights also received a message that basically asks us to swear an oath to chivalry:

If so, welcome to the table. If not, declare yourself a pawn alone on the board in Hierarchy. Nothing will be said of the change of position, but you will be expected upon a lot in the future if you agree. The reward is little, the duty great. The honour, though, is legendary.


Compare this to the oath King Arthur had his elite Round Table Knights swear each year at Pentecost, found at http://www.chivalrynow.net/articles/trusts.htm, and you'll see they are very similar...so the statement "welcome to the table" is apt.

- lines 1 and 3 both start with UOAO
- lines 2 and 4 have similar beginnings (but line 4 is shifted due to adding an I at the beginning) and both end with TOO
- at the end of each respective line: "I.O.U." (like "I owe you"), "me too," "I do so," and "I.O.U. too"

I'm having to update everything as not been online for a while so ive removed all the catz and and the other ditractions. They can help claire make head nad tail of all the papers. It was beyond me to be honest. With the creepy Vlad guy following me around and feeling of being watched - well its odd you know.
So now i feel safe in my uncles shadow.
He said I was about to start an epic journey this year, and yesterday, showed me a magic trick. It was hard for him to do, he couldn't really grab his wand [a stick used to poke the fire, so I did it for him]
I nearly fell about laughing when the stick went all limp. He'd got it rigged so i looked like a real stick but it was a bendy snake thing [like the ones hat you see in pics that eat their tails and stuff]
Today? Today we talked a lot about mum. I hlped myself to the pomegranites while he just looked mournfuly at his chess board [they used to play a lot of chess together].
He showed me a picture as well of her, standing by some pillars in a church in Tuscany or Tuscania. I miss you mum. So does Uncle Johan."

Just happened to be on when things were going down. Lol. I was like an hour late for most of it.

As for Joan Nicks.. She may or may not be of importance (You know, filling the tree with fluff to hide the important bits.)

First, a couple things he sent me in chat yesterday & I couldn't share until now because I closed the chat window & didn't see the messages again until now:

She, if Vanessa has chosen her friends true, will probably send you them as she lets her friends make her decisions for her a lot of the time. Thus, she only relies upon those who are true to her. Claire is a good friend to Vanessa, as seen on the night of her trip to the supermarket.

Has she said anything about the papers and who she will post to? And when? If she can be encouraged to scan them as a copy and then scatter them...

She has mused that it might be better to get the papers out of the country, "with John in this country". She has not said when or to whom she will send them...in fact, I've sent her a message discouraging her from posting those details publicly on her Wall, as she suspects that John watches her Wall.

I also encouraged her to run a copy of each item & keep them somewhere safe until the recipients receive them...just in case.

V. is prolly referring to an Ouroboros which is another "O" symbol.

 		I have a fax/printer/scanner combo, but the scans always, always turn out horrible, no matter how I adjust the settings. I'm willing to try, but I'd be concerned that I'd upload them and the quality would be so poor that everyone would swear they see secret messages when it would really just be scanner wonkiness, lol.


Two of V's updates include "cats/catz". Guess she's through with LOLCats and cats of the Cheshire variety.

Didn't see this mentioned, but Vlad left a FB note for Jim, in response to Jim's question.

My connection to Vanessa's family, is detailed and in depth. How did I meet Annabell? She worked for the same agency.
The agency drove us apart. More than that, they sent someone to kill Annabell when they discovered about her parents and who they were.
The man responsible was Jean-Pierre Weiller. My mentor at the agency.

Read the next following lines carefully, around them and with them. They will tell you all about my relationships with those you asked about. They will also provide the clues you need to make the second move. But hurry up please...
