Poor Vanessa, she should know better than to talk to strangers! At least she's safe, for now.

Edit: She's started scanning pics and posting them to the 73939133 group.

I think it's set so that anyone can view the pics.

Darkened so it can be seen a bit easier.

Anyone have any idea as to what this is?

I use a program called Paintshop Pro 7 for the quick things that I don't want to bust out photoshop for (it's a resource whore on Vista.) - it has an effect called 'equalize brightness'. When I use it, it pretty much kills the image, but you can see where things may be 'hidden'.

New pic up. It's a map with some stuff circled...

Edit:
The observatory that is circled. Vlad posted something in reference to it, but now I don't remember what it was.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Looke for Hooke and Coade Annabell. Annabell was Vanessa's mother. Maybe a reference to Robert Hooke. He wrote many of his discoveries in code.

So, I'm still trying to work out what you had said before. I'm starting to think that what you had said wasn't as important as that you said it. Yeah, there was a bit of a riddle in there, but, at the same time - I think you purposely gave too much, just to keep me busy, and see how long it would take for me to catch on. If so - I salute you, Mr. Sirin.

Any way, the real reason I messaged you just now. How was meeting V? She good lookin'? Sure she looks a lot different than that butterfly wing on her display pic Wink

intervene in her life anyhow. I am tempted to inform her about how to use an electronic scanner, but the one I have is just that. A scanner. Unsure about how a 'combo' utilises the settings. But she can read it seems. Unlike a catering student I know. xv is 15. I sent you a link. Now, if you were to stretch that little brain of yours, you would see that period is related to chemistry... and as for my 'poor typing', I am trying to point you to something which will be important. You have to find these things though, for if you cannot use basic information at your disposal, you will be no use to me when the fighting begins. Sleep well. I have to go and talk to someone. Good night and rest well. When Vanessa scans tomorrow, you will have needed your rest as things will accelerate fast. Sweet dreams.

I'm aware xv is 15. I figured the typos were intentional and attempting to point me in some direction. I didn't catch the chemistry bit - I will admit that. I'm just a bit burnt out after a lot of gaming tonight. Any way, I'll 'stretch my little brain' a bit now.

As for the scanns - My god, my 6 year old niece can scan better...on a 6 year old scanner.

Still trying to figure out how I'll be of use in the first place, but I assume you'll inform me later on, if I meet your standards.

Have a good night, Mr. Sirin.

Sooooo, anyone here a chemist? Most I know about chemistry is that I failed it hardcore in school.

Periodic table. Element 15 is phosphorus. Don't ask me what that means, since I got a D in chem.

Me and Vlad have been taking quite a bit..

Quote:
Vladimir

James?
7:56pmJames

Yes?

Sorry I was a bit late on the response. I was replying to your other message and ran off to get a drink.
7:59pmJames

I'm here now, though. Can I help ya?
7:59pmVladimir

So long as you have understood now?
7:59pmJames

Well, I must admit, I'm still piecing it together now, but I understand a hell of a lot more than when you first left me off.
8:00pmVladimir

Excellent. where is she putting the pictures please

?
8:01pmJames

The scans, you mean?
8:01pmVladimir

Yes. Where are they?

Please.
8:01pmJames

Well, I'm not really sure if I should answer as of yet.
8:02pmVladimir

Why? "Still trying to figure out how I'll be of use in the first place" - help me help her.
8:03pmJames

I'm sure you'll understand that because I don't know your true intentions, it's hard for me to just give out that information.

I will tell you what the scans include, though. No harm in that.
8:04pmVladimir

Please James. I am worried about her as well. More than you have "pieced together" - there are formulae which mustn't get out.
8:04pmJames

The first scan appears to be a sheet used to crack some sort of encryption by hand. It's hard to make out, and she claims there's numbers and letters that didn't transfer through with the scan.
8:04pmVladimir

Her life is in severe danger if certain 'others' find out she is putting them online.
8:04pmJames

The second is a map with an observatory circled. A note is there, but cut off.
8:05pmVladimir

Perhaps forces higher than us is intervening.
8:05pmJames

The third looks to be a postcard of sorts, was in plastic protection and is supposedly for/from her mothr.
8:05pmVladimir

Ann?

Sorry. Annabell?

What did it say - tell me.

Please.

Very imprtant.

James.
8:06pmJames

*mother, rather. Also i can't make out what it says, but, she says "Mentions my mum. quite thin paper as wll was in plstic sheet. miss you mum"
8:07pmVladimir

James. I understand being loyal to a young attractive woman you may fancy. But this is a matter of national importance. WHAT DID IT SAY?
8:08pmJames

I actually haven't seen her face, I'm not 'loyal' to her, nor do I fancy her - my heart belongs to another woman. I am giving you what I feel comfortable giving.

I'll give you what I -can- make out on the 'postcard' looking one.
8:08pmVladimir

James. I'm sorry. I was just worried about her earlier and now I'm being rude to you. Please forgive me.

Ultimately if it was to Ann then it is past and served its purpose. 10 years is a long time.
8:09pmJames

I don't see it as 'rude' just being short. Which I understand - something you want is right under your nose, and you want it bad. Don't worry about it. Now any way
8:09pmVladimir

Good night James. Thank you.
8:09pmJames

'looke for hooke and' the rest is unreadable to me

Does seem to be signed by an Annabell.

can't be 100% sure.

The scan is such shit that it's hard to make anything out.

Also
8:11pmVladimir

Thank you. Now what was the postcard of please James.
8:11pmJames

What does phosphorus have to do with anything?
8:12pmJames

As for the postcard. It appears to be a riverfront with some buildings and ships - older style, I sales and stuff. Theres a man in what I -think- is a suit, and a woman in what looks like a pink dres.
8:12pmVladimir

Phosphorus?
8:12pmJames

There's two other people in the picture, they appear to be fishing.

Yeah.. You said chemistry - period would be the Periodic Table of Elements. The 15th element is phosphorus, isn't it?
8:14pmVladimir

Yes. Yes it is. The 15th note on 'period' led you to chemistry yes?
8:14pmJames

Well, you mentioned chemistry, I just tied that to the table of elements, and the xv as the 15th place.

There is, though, another meaning of period in chemistry, I think.

Seven periods to the table, right?
8:15pmVladimir

Good. Develop that more, but not with 15. Any more numbers that are more in profile?

Please excuse me. The telephone is ringing.
8:16pmJames

Well, I was thinking about going back to the original message you sent me with the friend request, and finding the number of periods in that selection of text and matching it to the period on the table.

Alrighty.

More from him :

One of the first few perfect totient numbers belongs to Nelson. And not by coincidence.
8:20pmJames

May still be wrong with that and all, but, that's what my mind is going towards. Just needed a bit of a push. I'm not 'dumb' by any means. Just need to be pushed to the right track, y'know.
8:21pmVladimir

That call now requires me to leave my house for some time. Please accept my apologies for the intermission of the stretching of your brain.

Good evening James.
8:21pmJames

Again - have a good night.

And

thanks for making me use my brain. Haven't done so in quite a while Razz

Edit ::
More even still! This was posted on my wall.

Quote:
Vladimir Sirin O! for my sake do you with Fortune chide,

The guilty goddess of my harmful deeds,

That did not better for my life provide

Than public means which public manners breeds.

Thank you for the information you gave me James. It means a lot.

In relation to chemistry, periods, Nelson, and it's meaning.

Nelson's number is 111.
1,1,1 in chemistry is 1,1,1-trichloroethane - a chemical used as a solvent.

It's used as a cleaner for film.

Wikipedia :
Quote:
It was also the standard cleaner for photographic film (movie/slide/negatives, etc). Other commonly available solvents damage emulsion, and thus are not suitable for this application. The standard replacement, Forane 141 is much less effective, and tends to leave a residue. 1,1,1-Trichloroethane was used as a thinner in Correction fluid products such as Liquid paper. Many applications for 1,1,1-trichloroethane (including film cleaning) were previously done with carbon tetrachloride, which was banned in 1970.

Edit ::
In our previous conversations, the misspelled words were all missing the letter 'u'. Three times. U U U.

UUU in chemistry is Unununium, which was a temp name for 'Roentgenium'
Roentgenium's number is 111.. I'm going to guess it's that.

Edit :::
I just sent him this message.
Quote:
I can't believe it took me that long to catch it. I was archiving our messages for quick referencing (I'm a bit obsessive compulsive with stuff like that.), when my spellcheck started catching things... the misspelled words were all missing U.. UUU...Periods.. See, I thought when you mentioned the Nelson number, 111, you had meant the compound of 1,1,1-trichloroethane, a chemical solvent used in the cleaning of film... I looked at it, though and thought 'what does trichloroethane have to do with anything? Then it hit me. Periods. periodic table - 111 on the periodic table - UUU... Unununium, which was the placeholder name for the 111th element on the table - Roentgenium.

If I'm stringing this together correctly, along with that comment about this being national.. Are you referring to a potential nuclear threat with the equation Ms. V has?

Well I have added Vladimir on facebook, not sure whether to add Vanessa too, could cause trust issues as I think I can get more by focusing on just on person. Just added him now and waiting on a confirmation, also sent him a message. for those of you interested it said:

Good day Mr. Sirin. I have heard a lot about you and it seems that you have become quite a puzzle to many. I ask myself should I trust you... well should I?

Thought I'de throw something intelligent sounding at him and fish for a response lol.

I'll edit if I get a reply.

The name roentgenium (Rg) was proposed by the GSI team[6] in honor of the German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, and was accepted as a permanent name on November 1, 2004.[7] Previously the element was known under the temporary IUPAC systematic element name unununium, Uuu. wiki

The first 2 days, it was around 4AM EST, which would be ... 9am GMT? Today, they started earlier. Vanessa started Tweeting around 1pm GMT. Then later in the evening. Vladamir has been off and on all day. It's just kind of contact them when you want to ask something (or they contact you) and wait and see.

He's got something going with 111. Not only the Roentgenium deal. He left a message on my wall, Shakespeare's 111th Sonnet. The 111 is showing up in other places as mentioned before too.. Shit, I'd go as far as to say that Jan 11th something will go down.
