Then I imagine her using her psychic time shifting abilities to go back and pretend the conversation didn't happen Wink

I still think Sophie's psychic time whatever abilities are the key to getting them out of this. I wish The Companions would talk to us again.

 		Geez, folks... 12 hrs. and 10 pages later... Let me paraphrase and correct me if I'm wrong, please.

TEC is coming to get Sophie because she has a natural ability to mess with the time stream. CAPSRAGE and friend (or are they one?) have been messed over by TEC in the past, so are warning Donna of impending doom, but, they say, there is nothing she can do about any of this anyway. Donna is in denial and hoping it's all some elaborate prank. Sophie is coming home but doesn't buy any of it either. TEC will be here in roughly 24 hrs. Sound about right? Well, they're screwed. Sorry, looks like we killed another cheerleader. Rolling Eyes

Here's the good news. Donna can do something, and in fact, is going to already have done it. We know this because FD sent messages to herself. Therefore help IS available if we can track it down. Perhaps Sophie is that help, and it's a matter of convincing her that she can mess with stuff. Also, if there is a totalitarian org like TEC there is probably also a resistance/anti-TEC group, even if they are underpowered and not very effective. Maybe what they need is someone who can tweak time without mechanical assists.

Perhaps the first step is to get Sophie and Donna to figure out a way to tweak the (previous) messages. Maybe that active disruption of the time stream would attract attention from some other group, hopefully helpful. FD has to do this anyway, because if she doesn't it violates causality and we end up in a pocket universe or something.

For basic time travel paradoctoring I refer you to "—All You Zombies—"

 		Sounds like a good summary, except I'm not sure Sophie is coming home. From my chat with Donna last night:

Everything sounds about right, except for the FD thing. She stopped leaving clues once we saved Sophie, changing the future and eliminating the need for her to send messages. Who knows if FD still exists?

Also, no updates. We're pretty screwed. And by we, I mean Donna and Sophie. Oh dear Sad

She'll be back before then, the blog was posted just over an hour ago. And I think the key to her escape is her sensitivity to the time line. I'm gonna ask her if she's ever experienced days she swears she's been through before, or if she's woken up one day with no recollection of what happened the day before, almost as if she skipped right through them. You know, the basic time traveller stuff. That is, of course, if she contacts me.
