I find it interesting that the formatting doesn't fit with the rest of her blog posts. I think that Twitter may be the next thing to be messed with. Do you think it would be worth trying to get a backup method of communication with her? Like a secret email? Something secure to fall back on in case everything else gets interfered with.

since this is my first ARG, perhaps you can help me out here. If I contact her now and suggest that she find another way to communicate, won't that sound fishy? Should I leave this to the people who have already contacted her?

I dunno. There's definitely noises and stuff, but no actual words are being said that I can tell. I'm gonna keep working, but if anyone else can do this stuff too, please help me out, I suck at this.

EDIT: MzStock, she has a couple, her email, blog, YouTube and Twitter being the ones we've seen thus far. The only one that hasn't seemed to be tampered with is her Twitter account. A couple of us have been talking to her on there, too. If you have one, search for adulvizedonna, that's her name on there.

The 'go from your right to your six' made me think about when one of my military-obsessed friends plays Halo. He never says 'they're behind you'. He always says 'To your six'.

It could be nothing, but when I read it, I pictured someone standing on a clock face - looking forward to 12. Their right side would be on the 3, turning 180 degrees to the right would have them on the six. (or, 90 degrees to the right, from their right side.)

It may be nothing at all, but it's what came to mind.

I think the post time (00:56) may have something to do with things as well, as does the post category (which is "1" ). Again. It may be nothing at all, but it caught my eye.

After I finish my email, I'll post it up and take a crack at that audio. Also said I was going to watch the video on slow and see if I saw anything new - so I'll do that as well and report back.

At MzStock - I would leave the 'another way to communicate' part to people who are already in contact. But, you might be able to say you found her twitter or blog through a friend and use that as an in.
Also, this is the first time I'm actually participating fully in an ARG - and I'm learning as I go. Don't let it being your first time put you off or anything:D

@Telos - That's what I got from "right to six", as well. Clockwise, while widdershin would be counter clockwise.

I don't have the means to dissect the audio, but the growls that are heard sound a lot like a large cat -- lion, tiger, etc. What is the object she keeps fiddling with in the video? I know she says it's a nervous habit, but what it it?

Yeah, I was thinking that, too. From your right "to your left" would have made more sense, but since "to your six" is behind you, it's not a full 180 degrees, that would just be ninety.

EDIT: Oh shit, Dawn, you're right. that would not be widdershin, because that would be clockwise. Hm.
EDIT2: Nevermind, it said "the world doesn't always go from blah blah, it goes widdershin." So it does make some sense.

EDIT: Have you noticed the glitch in the video at 3:30? She begins talking about the video and the word "camcorder" is repeated.
