 		I thought the same thing about there being an Assasin group playing this game. I'm not sure how they would keep the other team a secret from such skilled ARGer's as yourselves (i say 'yourselves' because I'm really not experienced at this)...

 		Late night speculation.
Aw hell, every time I get ready to go to sleep, something about all this starts rolling around in my head. S, I just re-read C's response to your homework assignment and it has me thinking about something. You're supposed to be looking to make a connection between Eden and Mt. Fuji. I think the direction you're being pushed towards is to make the connection from the Truth video from Assassin's Creed 2. It's a bonus teaser you get for completing 20 puzzles hidden all over the game world. Here's a LINK to the completed video on YouTube.

Alright, minor spoilers about the video and MAJOR ones about AC 1 & 2's endings:

Last things first: The binary at the end of the video translates to "EDEN." Speculation suggests that Eden is referring to the skyscraper and city that Adam and Eve climb to the top of. As in, Eden was an ancient high tech city/factory/military-facility/whatever rather than a garden mentioned in the book of Genesis. Now the mountain in the background. Seems to me like Agent C is trying to suggest that it's Mount Fuji, which would signify that Eden was actually in Japan, rather than the middle east. If you've watched the video, pause it around 30 seconds, so you have a good look at the mountain. Now look at these pictures:

Looks more like Kilimanjaro to me. Plus, the general area around the mountain is shown during the events of Assassin's Creed 1 as the location of a Piece of Eden--or at least it was there in 1191, when Altaïr witnessed the map in the Apple he recovered from Al Mualim. However Yonaguni is a potential location for yet another of the Pieces of Eden. It is suggested that the Yonaguni monument (basically a Japanese version of Atlantis, ie a highly advanced society who's land sank into the ocean) was created many years before such advanced construction should have been possible.
Aw hell, who knows. I could be way off. Either way, Yonaguni remains a location to investigate, just not in conjunction with Eden.

And don't worry Jim, I'm really new to this too. For all I know, you might be one of the Assassins! Still, it would be a cool idea, as long as the people behind the curtain handled it right. How that would be, I have no idea. Which probably explains why I'm on this side of the game.

 		Alright, I'm gonna jump into this one. I've signed up on the page, and will let you guys know if/when I get an email response. I've never played AC, but I've watched my friend play the second one a bit, so I have a slight understanding of what's going on. Since the first one has dropped in price so much, I might just pop out and pick it up.

 		i never sent any email in code, all just normal english, dont know if that's a factor at all. i have played the first game, thought the story line was more interesting than the game play in that one. the 2nd one sounds way better though.

 		Yeah, doesn't look like anybody's getting responses today. PM must be taking a day off.

Also, my email to "Protector" was ROT 5 coded, so if one of us gets a response and the other doesn't, we'll know the cause.

EDIT: Man, was hoping for an update by the time I got home from work but no such luck apparently. Hope this didn't just die when it looked to be ramping up. That would be REALLY dissappointing.

 		I'll jump in on this. I sent my reply to the join page at about 3am Friday morning, and received a reply with the first email that was sent to everyone (with a quirky reply to my join answer). =D I received it at about 1am EST, and I replied with a long winded answer about 330am EST.

I suppose more waiting is in order!

 		Hey fellas, long time! I am a big fan of Assassin's Creed story and even if this is not real, it has captured my attention.

While I am behind, it seems like you guys have gotten some work done. I am gonna try to work from the ground up and see if I can find anything.

If you guys want to follow my friend and I, we're going to keep everything posted in a google wave - just pm your google account (assuming you have google wave, I can try to send you a nomination if you want one, but it takes awhile!) and I will invite you!

I'll reply with anything I find once I catch up.

My thoughts so far:

At first I thought this could be a start to promotion for AC3 or the AC2 DLC, but.....

Seems pretty poorly done, some of the stuff they say on the weebly site is incorrect, there are some typos, and it doesn't seem like this was put that well together. For a company that invested a couple mill into a prequel video series to promote the game, I don't see why they'd put together something so amateur.

All of the pictures used were pictures that were just taken from ingame, they have already shown that they were willing to use live-action/real characters.


Just to note, new people are getting responses and he is definitely still active. Maybe no one is getting responses because he is waiting for something to be found that is already lingering, perhaps even on this forum - or maybe he is looking for secrecy?

While it's a wild speculation, I am not going to break this secrecy - but I encourage others to more thoroughly decipher what is going on.
