@Firstsword82: Your trip doesn't necessarily end here. I was called out straight on with my reply to my "perfect eden". I somehow don't see PMs alienating a couple members of a (relatively) small start. Welcome to the otherside of the glass.

Well, maybe I just put my foot in my mouth.

I've always regarded unf to be oog. I can't wrap my head around the fact that they linked back here from eden4. If I knew the what time the modification happened, I could, without a doubt, know why. It was probably because I chose to go with the other side, and if I screwed up the story progression because everyone was to be a templar, I'm sorry and I don't want to play anymore. I will observe just like firstsword.

Only thing is - who the hell is going to use UF as part of the game?
It's not as if we're roleplaying our ends of the game here. I could understand if we were, but - as godisvoid said - UF is usually out of game.

PM better have a good reason for linking to UF and 'terminating' people's status with the Templar, or I see this game falling apart quickly.

Sad... it seemed to be off to a good start.

Yeah, I honestly don't have any idea what just happened. Probably this is the PM's first game. Either that or some of us are going to start getting emails from the "brotherhood" any minute now (but I won't hold my breath).

I guess it just sucks because I thought unfiction/unforums was supposed to be totally OOG, ie. off limits when topics of betrayal come up. Apparently I was wrong, or maybe I'm just in the wrong game. For those who haven't yet been labeled as serpents, I guess I can only make a few suggestions: Don't mention your "Templar" identity in this thread, and stay away from any personal topics that might equate your posts to the Agent you represent.

Guess there's nothing to do but organize secret meetings with the rest of the Serpents... maybe I'll give things a day or two to cool off before I cut my ring finger off.

EDIT: Just to clear something up... In complete honesty, I am 100% sure that I am NOT Agent C. As things turn out, I'm not even Agent A anymore. So sad. And I just got my certificate framed too.

EDIT2: Hmm... things seem to be branching. Nothing confirmed yet. I'll keep everyone posted, if I feel it's safe. Private messages are welcome. Depending on how things end up, this might not be the most appropriate forum for discussion. We'll see.

To reiterate what's already been said:

uF is considered OOG by an unwritten rule. Players rely on this resource as a haven, but there are no hard and fast rules which state that uF may not exist IG. It is against the rules, however, to post on uF IG. In general, it's a good rule of thumb for PMs to only use uF when it's time for the after game chat. At least, that's my understanding. I've been here for less than a year and there have already been more of these discussions than I can count... (I'm Sorry and Junko Junsui, case in point.)

As far as I know, I haven't been labeled a serpent yet. Who knows how long that will last, though. My UF name is the same as my email name.

So I'm pretty much brand new (been lurking Marble Hornets for awhile), and this caught my eye. I love Assassin's Creed, so I'm jumping into this one.

Isn't it kind of hard to join right now? Being that the templars have taken down the page where you were initially were supposed to start? Maybe we are missing something.

I'm starting to think our PM is a first timer and is having issues keeping up with everything, and may also be having IRL issues due to the holiday season. As for the rest of the issues.. Iunno. I'm still put off by it linking directly to UF.

Considering I posted all of ONCE to this forum, at the very beginning, with completely inconsequential information, and was then branded a "serpent", I don't know. I emailed back to the "STATUS REVOKED" email and have gotten no response.

Like adele19 im totaly new to this, the only reason i found this site and game genre is because i stumbled on this binary code on the gamefaqs forum.

And because this intruiges me i find myself bound to join in on this, it seems the best way to learn about how all this works. This is my first time so please tell me if i do somthing wrong. My english lacks somewhat.
This is mostly me introducing myself.
I have recieved the first mail with the electric chair and agrees with the comment that things might be a bit slow now with christmas and all.

Btw, the person that posted the binary code on gamefaqs has the username "tunguskaevent", there is also a user on youtube with that name if thats to any help.
