Yes, http://www.abstergo.net/ is the adress. But from what i read on their page, im not qualified to work for them. Im more suited for the assassins side, but what i have grasped, you might have to belong to a long line of assassins to join them.

Also. This seems to be much about the location of Desmond Miles. The only information about this that i can gather is that they fleed north of their previous hideout/town. I don't think that enough of a use for Abstergo to contact them.

ETA; sent off a very cryptic mail to them, hinting that i may be descended from an assassin, saying my previous employment was in the nature of security, lets see where this goes.

BTW has anyone tried calling the hotline number? im in the ukand have overseas numbers barred

I'm pretty sure you don't NEED to be descended from assassins to work with them, the only characters who are confirmed to be so are Desmond and Subject 16. However, the family tree of assassins is the reason Desmond and 16 are used with the Animus, because they are the only ones who have Assassin DNA memories coded from their ancestors to access with the Animus. Otherwise, why don't we ever see Lucy Stillman, Shaun Hastings, or Rebecca Crane in the Animus?


Still haven't been contacted. Going to give it a day or two before I re-apply to the new Abstergo site.

 		Well, if the ToS wasn't broken before, it certainly has been now... Oh well. Nothing to do but forge ahead!

Anyway, I cannot access the Abstergo site from work, due to lack of a Flash Player. I have to go to my girlfriend's family's place for dinner tonight, so I'm not sure if I'll have time to check it out tonight either, but I'll see what I can do. Glad to see that this game hasn't died yet!

 		I've not tried to email V, but I did call the number. It rang four times and went to voicemail. Shame, I was hoping to have a heart-to-heart.

But, I did get something interesting in my inbox about three hours ago.

 		When I sent a message to Vidic at the Abstergo site, I told him that I may not be qualified to work the positions they need, but that I do have resources and knowledge I can use to help them achieve their goals.

When I sent a message to the protector email (I assume that's Agent C? ) - I responded to his message about the Apple of Eden by saying that I do not want it for my self - that I don't want a position of power that high, but that I would like to serve as the right hand to a person with that power.

I still haven't been called out as a serpent via email, so maybe they still see my actions as justified or something? I'm still waiting for a response to both emails.

Guess it's time to go play more AC2.. I'm only on the part where you tail Jacopo De' Pazzi, so there's quite a bit of story I'm missing out on. I assume beating the game will help with this one.

Got a bit further ingame. While doing one of the Glyph Puzzles in Venice - I came across hidden text in the pictures. Ran the stuff through http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/ and got this

 		Telos, there's a TON more hidden stuff in the Glyph puzzles. There's a guide on GameFAQS.com (interestingly, the message board there for Assassin's Creed 2 is where I first came across the binary for the eden4 weebly site)

Warning though, there might be some spoilers in there, but you can skip to the puzzles you're on and there'll be a list of all the "hidden" info in each puzzle. I've personally found coded lines in binary, morse, and pigpen cypher. The extras in the Glyphs were half of the fun in the game, for me anyway.

Still no reply from Agent C. Looks like he's got his mind made up about me being permanently disowned. Oh well. Time to apply to Abstergo. Going for Equipment Mechanic and Engineer. Have real-world experience in the military aerospace maintenance business, so that should help.

UPDATE. If this doesn't get somebody's attention, then I think my chances with this game are TOTALLY shot to hell.

Sure, it's not an actual resume, but I absolutely refuse to put real-world references on a game resume. It would be hard to convince my real life contacts to refer to me by an in-game name too, but that's beside the point. All the qualifications are real, so good luck Abstergo trying to catch me in BS. Time for the waiting game again.

So I'm stumped. I would say that certain letters are specifically omitted from the entire phrase, but the 5th word "F--" is basically "for" unless someone else can figure out another 3 letter word starting with F. So all the Os and Rs are removed from the line. But the 2nd letter in the 3rd word is O. And at this point my brain stops being productive. This is probably the most useless thing anyone will read all day, but the spoiler cover makes it look uber-important, doesn't it? You're still reading, aren't you? Sorry for wasting everybody's time. (facepalm.self)


and just for kicks, I checked out that italian you got a few emails ago:

La suggerisco comincia a battere a macchina il suo riassunto.
I broke it up and tried "bits and pieces" translation of the phrases. "battere a macchina" means "type up" and "il suo riassunto" means "your summary"... I think. "I suggest you start to type up your summary," but summary of what? Did somebody forget to do their homework assignment? Maybe when you turn it in, you'll get the Serpent email and lose your Agent status too.


EDIT: hmm... i'm currently at oneacross.com it's a crossword puzzle help site, so if the message is simple letter omission...

 		Turning me into an informant? LOL Wth would I possibly know that would be useful to them? I mean, as far as I'm concerned, I'm totally unaligned. The Templars don't want to play, and as far as thecreed goes, other than those two emails, I've nothing from them either. I'm just going to play along with this. I'm stalling for time because I'm taking apart a macbook right now, but as soon as I'm done, I'll play around with the new puzzle (that is, if no one beats me to it! =D ) and come up with some BS to send back to B.

EDIT: Actually, since it's not as though "they" can demote me to anything less than a serpent, so, that whole "secrecy" thing, well I'm throwing it to the wind. If I get anything, everyone's going to know. I suppose I make myself out to be more of an antagonist than I really am. ^.^'
