 		I wonder if @Mr_Eaten will actually grant my request, even in a subverted way, or if he'll wriggle out of it because he said "Name it and it is yours"; strictly speaking I can't name it, because the name is what I asked for.

 		If you're asking for an item, Eaten tends to pay up first (though like most sunuvabitch genies, in the worst possible way). Then you equip the item and head into K&C, getting the Peckish quality, which unlocks a couple of things. And with those, you start a new quest to find Eaten's true name.

From what I understand, Unaccountably Peckish is the quality that you obtain when you ask Mr. Eaten for a favor, get your item, and subsequently lose it in K&C. I haven't done so yet though, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

On another note, I made a slight attempt to ask Mr. Wines about Mr. Eaten, considering that he seemingly brought him up out of the blue. He responded rather tersely though, so I'm guessing that's a subject that he's not very fond of. Also, I'm sure you've all noticed this, but it seems like the Masters refer to each other as "it" instead of "him".

Many thanks to everybody who has accepted my requests for chess and listening to my vent about my nightmares. It's helped a lot!

 		Just had a conversation with Mr_Wines in which he hinted that I contact The Magazine Formerly Known as the London Magazine, but I haven't seen any cards or sidebars on that for a while. If you get one, could you please tweet it to me? Just put @Hotwing_rummm in the optional part. I'll repay with dinner or whatever.

On another note, is it just me or are there a lot of 'Surface' bronze-edged cards popping up?

I'm pretty sure there's 4 new paths there, one for each stat.

Now that's one I haven't seen before!

Unaccountably Peckish is indeed the quality you get for having an item from Mr Eaten and winning in K&C. Nightmares is Nightmares, of course. Seeking Mr Eaten's Name is the quest you start to get by doing anything else which requires Unaccountably Peckish, for example the well.

I have no clue what Scholar of the Correspondence is though!

 		hmmm. The quality I gained from Mr. Eaten (possibly?) is Hearing Things, or Are You?. I never got the Peckish one though, do you think I'm still indebted to him/it?

When I got to stage four of my search for the Vake, I recieved this: (note, I recieved the Hearing Things quality prior to getting to stage four)
