Yeah, I like the changes they've made lately. Makes things easier and more efficient. Although I did just reach the end of Ambition: Light Fingers so I have to find something else to do until they add more.

Yes, connections with various groups within the game are made as you complete various missions. You'll need various connections to use some of the opportunity cards.

I have a choice for an ambition. "Lost lover" or something. Should i go with that or wait till later and try to find something better? Nevermind I checked the wiki and saw the info on them.

There are four Ambitions, and they all unlock at 6 on one of the Qualities. None of them are actually finished at this point, though you'll have to run the two primary Qualities into the 40-50 range before you hit the end. Alexis has promised that more content on the Ambitions is coming Real Soon Now.

Which one? That's up to you. All have benefits and drawbacks. All require you to open one of the locked areas. I'm doing 'Heart's Desire' which sends you on a quest to try to get into a card game where you wager your soul. You get a pretty cool Hysterical Monkey companion at some point. I believe all of them have companions except maybe Light Fingers, but I'm not sure. Not a lot on the wiki about these yet, but maybe it will be a bit of a help. See the 'Ambitions' drop down menu.

Following an Ambition will slant you stats, so if you play Knife and Candle a lot you probably want to choose Nemesis or Bag a Legend. Dangerous is the primary Quality in the first, and secondary in the... ummm second.

Keep posting! I'm pulling lots of stuff for the 'getting started' guide out of this.

I was wondering whether people had set up special twitter accounts specifically for playing the game. I'm worrying that my usual twitter account could get overwhelmed.

I'm currently playing as fairyhedgehog, if anyone is interested.

If I did set up a separate account I'd have to start again. Would it be worth it?

It depends on your friends, I think. I believe my non-EB friends uh... indulge me. However, I also happen to use my twitter account just for gaming, so even though I know not all of my friends are playing EB, I know all of my friends -play something-.

That's a good point diszaster. Sadly, most of my online friends are creative writers and not into gaming. I'll need to think about this.

I tend to try to dress up my tweets so I'm seen to be spamming less. There's 2 ways to do this:
1) Include a #echobazaar or #ebz tag right at the beginning of the tweet, so people can stop reading further, and/or
2) Direct the tweet @ a player or character. For example, when having to tweet a sidebar about Sinning Jenny, I asked her about it here. That way anyone not following Jenny (hence not playing) won't even see the tweet.

I think if you tweet @ someone then others still see it, or have I got that wrong? Either way, it is definitely less spammy.
