Game over?
Now that Patrick has padded his resume...

Well, it does seem like our beloved PM is NOT dead. Just got notified of an update in status to his LinkedIn profile, which he apparently posted two days ago:

Quote:
Patrick Marckesano is giving a media massage to your reptilian brain.

Oh and it gets better... His "Summary":

Quote:
Interactive director/producer with unique experience creating popular multi-channel interactive campaigns.

In August 2009 I launched a personal project which garnered over 6 million views within four weeks. During peak traffic, the project attracted 300,000 new viewers a day and frequently overran its bandwidth allocation of 2000 simultaneous video watchers. This project, dubbed "Junko Junsui" by its fans, was intended as a testing ground of my concepts regarding transmedia design. It was produced within a budget of approximately $65K USD and involved the creative collaboration of some 35 people in 9 different countries.

My role was primary from start to finish. As the creative director and producer, I was involved with every aspect including: initial concept, media strategy, information architecture, art direction, graphic design, copywriting, script writing, talent casting, set design, video and photo production, editing and post production, motion design, programming development, QA, deployment and day-to-day operation (a very intense job since the project was largely reactive to viewers' actions).

I understand the potential of the new medium and I want to work with companies that are not afraid to push the limits and get real results.

Specialties

media strategy, pitch presentation, viral marketing, user experience, art direction, photo/video production, flash design, hand illustration, architectural/set design

Sounds great on paper, don't it?

So earlier today I had the chance to talk to a certain person whose name coincidentally has the same initials as his role in JJ.

I won't go over what was discussed; however, I will say this:

There's alot instore for Junko Junsui. ALOT MORE. It would be a shame to let this slip by. Really.

All the beef set aside, there really are good intentions, and much to look forward to.

Regardless of all the silliness that's occured, give JJ a chance to blossom.
What we've seen is a small taste of what this could become if it has the chance to grow.

I won't go into any more detail, so please don't ask. I don't know a whole lot about it. just bits and pieces. But from what I gather, this won't be one for all of us to let us slip by.

Gotta love to know most of the traffic was ppl asking "wtf is this?" at her/his most interactive moment.

Well this has been incredibly anti-climactic.

Call this consumer dissatisfaction.

NOT true.

Just trust me. This is not the end. If anything, right now is more than likely a pitch for further investment, to continue it.

Seriously though, this is not the end of Junko Junsui. Mark my words.

IDK... the fact that he stated that Junko is an ARG actually makes me think otherwise... However, I do hope this is not the end...

To investors, it is exactly that, an investment, and ARG.
*puts the curtain back into place*
THIS IS NOT A GAME.

Why are ye fearful, oh ye of little faith?

Get your game face on. Sooner or later it's coming back. And if has funding the way it should, based on PM's previous works, it will be worth the wait.

Homeostatic.net is back up like I said previously. That should say something as to what type of things to expect.
