I felt it, I saw it and I got burned by it. Idbecautious knows it's out there too. He or she knows something. And they're toying with me.

Just doing a little browsing of some of the games that haven't gotten too far in and followed the link to burnthandle. It's interesting and I hope that it continues.

What got my attention most of all were two things:

1. I too noticed Brian (I think that was it?) commented that he'd not been to the woods in awhile, so he's aware of the place and then nothing more on it. I wondered if it was a clue or just a random comment to get things moving.

2. The wall stains. I saw things! I did, I swear I did, I tell you!

On the fainter one, and both actually, I see a figure of a person kneeling or sitting at the entrance of a cave like opening. The darker one is easier to make out, and looks like a person kneeling, wearing dark robes and with a halo aura or a "white" headdress, and the other one the same, but holding something round at the chest/stomach area.


Some possibilities

- the hut in the woods wasn't there and she's hallucinating (it's real and she's just nutty)
- the hut was there and she went to the wrong location (it's real and she's confused)
- the hut was there and actually has some magical properties to make it vanish, same with the markings (definitely a game and open to possibilities)

I'm leaning to the last one and add the possibility that it's a portal of some sort and she got burned because she grabbed the handle when the hut was "in use" or something Laughing

I have it bookmarked so will follow along awhile longer to see where it leads.

 		I'm following this too, just haven't really been actively participating in much of anything with the holidays. My first thought was this sounds like a creepypasta I read not too long ago. I'd have to search for the link.

My second thought was that this is definitely something paranormal. I read her post about answering the phone and no one was there. For some unknown reason, I can remember Sylvia Browne (yes, the psychic who was always on Montel Williams' show) saying that it's a sign of someone in the afterlife trying to contact you. I know Sylvia Browne on a talk show is a horrible source, but it would make sense if this is something paranormal.

@The Barmaid -- I didn't see anything in those markings, but I'll look again. Now that you've said something, I'm afraid I'll be unconsciously seeing what you saw, though.

I thought I saw two different pictures in one marking and then I thought I saw wht looked like an odd fingerprint or footprint.

1. tapped into her dream and saw the people in robes kneeling at the mouth of the cave in the wall stains or

2. she's hallucinating via the hut that ended up here Laughing


At any rate, least now I don't feel like *I* am hallucinating, she's pointing to caves and robes and people and the stains! Laughing

EDIT - ohhh it's sideways. I was going to enlarge and lighten it some and it saved as vertical...so the fainter one up top looks like splotchy skulls slash animal paws but the darker one still looks like someone kneeling at an opening of something, cave, huge gaping mouth, vaginal canal, etc. only now it's sideways and the figure would be looking down/right.

I can't be the only one to see this, right?

GIMP told me it was rotated too. If you zoom it up to around 200%, you can definitely see a person-shaped figure. Not sure about the kneeling part. It looks like a person inside a womb. There's some lighter splotches above the figure. I can also see the skull in the first one.

So, no, Barmaid, you're not hallucinating, lol Wink

Plus when we read this topic we get influenced to see things.

Actually, in that one the figure in the smaller pic wasn't in that spot but once it enlarged, it looked more like light/shadow of skulls.

Glad it wasn't just me!

Also people are sending me messages via email, suggesting I use twitter. I don't see why when this blog is serving the purpose I intended it to, well I intended it to be for fun but that all changed. I now use it to catalogue whatever the hell is going on and I've found out that there are people out there, commenters, emailers ect that don't think I'm crazy and have offered excellent advise.

There haven't been any dreams since the last one. But I've had this eerie feeling of being watched, now just when I'm out walking or through my window at night, but here on the internet. It's as if idbecautious or something more benevolent is aware of every keystroke.

I forget which blog post this happened on, but someone posted a link to an OOG forum discussing this as a game. A couple other people then fussed about someone posting an OOG link. The writer seems to read her comments regularly, but she just ignored this. I think if it were real, she probably would have been like, "What is an ARG and why do you think this is a game?" or something like that. Just speculation, but that's what made me think that it's really a game.
