Goddammit, understand the theory before you try to argue against it.

Slender Man killed him 3 years ago or whenever the tapes were filmed. That's also when Return was filmed.

Yeah, I read the theory. It still makes absolutely no sense. Slendy is J, to what end? Why upload any of this shit? Why the twitter? Its way too convoluted to make sense. There seems to be no point to having J=Slendy. Plus, TTA has been responding specifically to J. Rembember the entry showing J coughing in the hallway? Rembember TTA's stalkerish videos of J. Why the hell would he send that to Slenderman? Obviously Slendy and TTA are working together, so it makes no sense that they would be doing this back and forth.

It just isn't good storytelling to have your main character be the main antagonist THE WHOLE TIME =OOO

The tone of his voice makes it seem like this isn't the case, for me anyways. Unless he tried to find them, he wouldn't jump to that conclusion. And I am not a fan of the "they were all in the creepy vortex, not just Seth" theory.

Did Alex or did Alex not say Seth was the only one left before his mutilation? Don't mean to trout, just trying to remember!

 		I, for one, am fond of the alternate reality theory, but we'll see what happens. I was growing a little concerned that MH was seeking to demystify SM too much. I will personally remake this entire film if Slenderman ends up being explained away with some hackneyed horror trope (i.e., vengeful spirit, evil spell, etc.). We're not in the realm of Bram Stoker here, ladies and gentlemen, we're in the realm of H.P. Lovecraft.

Having said that, theory is all well and good, and fun to explore, but when you start spewing hyperbole ("most retarded thing" you've "ever read on these forums," etc.) it's time to take a step back from your monitor and go do something with people face to face. If you're not having fun (remember what the G in ARG stands for) then you ought to reevaluate the ways in which you spend your free time.

There's distortion around Alex's head at the end when the shadowy hand reaches towards him. The same type of distortion that's around Tim's head in 17.

There's audio distortion throughout the first part of the video. Slenderman is there. We know that for a fact.


we don't know if hes there really. alex doesnt seem him and get visibly scared or anything. we don't particularly see him, either as prominent like in 7 or 12 or close like in return, 14 or 13.

 		Alex explicitly says that he and Seth "were the only two left" at around 5:35 or so. So yeah, he means something other than "everybody was missing when I came to" when he says "gone." He seems to know what's on the tapes. All of them.

Jay needs to find out where Sarah is and if Seth is still "gone." He also needs to hunt down Tim and get some answers. Honest answers.

@SlendySense: Distortion is in the entire video. Combined with the video tearing and Alex's amnesia about the whole thing, it's pretty safe to say Slendy was there.

Also, you know that hole in the ground from 21? And how Slender Man MIGHT be in that pipe? Do you think Slender Man's "teleport" abilities are actually him, moving through pipes and holes through the ground? Maybe?

That's an interesting point-- Alex doesn't just mean "gone for now", because he must remember what is on all of the tapes, or he wouldn't want to burn them.

Am I just repeating things now, directly from quotes above?

I'll stop.

My thoughts as well.

Everyone wants so badly to see something, that they're grasping at straws.

If you take a look at the whole series thus far, when the MH's gang want you to see slendy in a vid, they put him IN the vid. At least as far as actually SEEING him in the vid.

Yes, they could be implying that slendy is around the area due to the distortions and whatnot, but that doesn't mean they actually put him in the vid to be seen.


I'm just going to add that I can't believe some of the wild things that have been implied. As much as I'm tired of the whole $20 thing... I'll take that any day over the "slendy killed jay and took on his image" Rolling Eyes

Everyone needs to go to bed, get some sleep, and come back with a clear head. I'm really not going to try and rack my brain figuring stuff out. I'll just wait for the next TTA (hopefully there's one) and Jay vid Razz
