That was just a part of the script for MH that the character "lived there his whole life", so I'm guessing he's going to school AROUND this area, and he's leaving to go home.

Also, it's unclear as to whose house it is.



But I'm sure J said something about it in one of his vids or as Cegars on SA? Oh well.

 		I think the camera missing could be a key here. Why leave the tape, but keep the camera? Could this be the camera that TTA uses now?

The only reason I could see it not being the camera he uses is because he was filming Jay while Alex was hunting Slenderman around the pool house or whatever.

He would have had to film himself in TTA's "Addition" video. The camera in that video isn't stationary, and based off the house layout we seen in Entry 20 we know Jay would have had to trip over it if it was on a tripod.

 		Should we assume the slenderman didn't terrorize Alex the three years he was gone. This could be one of the videos in that three year period. He might want to burn the next set of tapes. (the ones he made after he left Jay)

He might have thought that Jay won't find the SM in the videos. He might have also forgotten what was in the videos he gave to Jay.

SM and Masky did things in that three years. The Slenderman didn't just hibernate.

This would be easier if the videos were dated.

 		So guys, what about the reason for Alex and Seth being in the Bathhouse at all? Were they scouting? Seems kinda off to me...

Also, some of what Alex says is kind of odd... I mean, "*** fled back upstairs"? Is my hearing really that bad, or are they actually looking for SM here?

 		Well.. that was... not a good way to start the day.

I think that the building, obviously long abandoned (burned? a factory of some sort?) is of great significance. I also believe that this is the last tape Alex made before leaving. His mention of J and the others being "gone" means that in distancing themselves from Marble Hornets they've broken free from the curse, and probably from Alex's fraying mind.

If J can figure out what that building is and research it's history, perhaps we can figure out if SM is a ghost or something otherworldly.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go fetch my mind bleach.

Ya Alex and Seth go upstairs and then it blacks out for a couple seconds and then Alex says something "___ ____ back upstairs". Were they not upstairs? Or is the tape out of order or is there more than 2 levels. Also after the video of them go upstairs then they tape the furnace which usually would be in basement, not?

I'm going to say Alex had a quiet three years.

I am basing this on the theory that all Slender Man wanted was to erase the memory of him from the MH crew. However Alex (and Seth) where avoiding and resisting, taping themselves, and changing location to avoid him.

Alex finally caves once Seth falls and he is the only one left to remember. He resigns himself to his fate and prepares to destroy the tapes, the tapes being the only thing guaranteeing he won't forget completely. He records this last message, which is odd considering he wants to destroy this tape and all the rest, but Jay inadvertently intervenes when he requests the tapes.

Alex gives him the tapes, tells him to never mention them to him or show them to anyone causing (what he hopes) will be the same effect as burning them. He realizes that he forgot the tape in the camera and stashes it at red tower, not wanting to destroy for whatever reason. (Perhaps he was worried Jay would get in trouble and he would need that last tape?)

Alex leaves town and with nothing to remind him of what happened he forgets.

What did the slenderman and masky do in those three years? If tim is masky he obviously remembered about the slenderman.
Wouldn't the slenderman go after masky?
Does that mean Alex doesn't remember who Jay is? If Alex forgot about the slenderman woundn't he also forget why he is avoiding Jay.

 		Hello there, I'm kinda new here but I've been lurking for a while...

So, why haven't anybody addressed the clear-as-day face appearing in frame at 4:34, just after the b/w distortion over Alex face kicks out? It might
be Seth checking the camera, but still, it should have been noted by now.

Seth seems to notice as well, as he gets the shakes right after. I feel the shakes haven't been properly discussed either, since they are hand made and not distortion.

 		I'm still curious about why everyone thinks Slenderman wants evidence of his existence erased. I've read the trailhead and haven't seen any compelling evidence to suggest this. Why is it being assumed as a forgone conclusion?

Yeah, it looks an awful lot like the model they used in Entry 12. I've been debating with myself about whether it's supposed to be Slendy, 'cause it seems so small, but it really, really resembles what we saw in 12.


Also, it makes NO sense why we call the O-X symbol the Operator symbol. That mark has never been associated with TTA except that they were once in the same general area. The Stigma, on the other hand has been shown a couple times in seeming parallel to Operator. Yet that one is largely ignored. The logic here fails me.

I had originally heard, "they [the stairs] LEAD back upstairs", as in, some kind of vortex/loop made them unable to leave.

But then I thought... that's just silly.

Or is it?!
