 		I think something may have been overlooked here.

The location of the tape.

Why would Alex bother to go up in that tower and place the tape in that chrome container instead of with the rest of the tapes that he gave to Jay? What is the significance of that? Was he trying to hide it from Slendy? He gave the clue from the paper in Entry #19.5, so maybe he wanted Jay to find it? I can't figure it out... Shocked

 		to be honest, we don't know many motives...
J was[originally] looking through the tapes, filmed by alex, who's motive went from filming the marble hornets filmthing to filming himself{possibly to guard against ememory loss} and trying to find slendy, J, later, trying to find alex, then got replied to by TTA, whose agenda seems to have been helping J either find alex, or find slendy[or maybe even masky]
J, now, due to lack of tapes or any trail to alex just seems to be trying to find out what's going on, because it's basically fucking his shit up

which kinda puts him in the same position as alex, sans the rest of the MH crew, who seemed to have been helping him

as for masky, he just seems to have a grudge against J

Perhaps......

As have been stated before, It's strange to think that he was planning to burn #22 with the other tapes, since that would make his final addition to it pretty useless.

So, perhaps, he decided to keep the tape as a reminder. A nessecity, If you (like me) believes that after #22 he finally gave up, "gave in", to Slenderman (??? or whatever causing the memory loss), and thereby gave his memories up.

So he hiked to the tower and stashed the tape, unwilling to keep it nearby, and noted "at the tower" in one of his drawings/notes, again, as a reminder.

J found this note among his papers, leading him to the tower, where he found the tape.

Now, once again, what about the fucking face at 4:25???

Cannot see what you mean, and I checked 4:25-4:30, to be doubly-sure. Can you post a screenshot, perhaps encircling the face you saw?

 		OH, I SEE NOW. The glorp at 4 and 25 seconds threw me off. I figured he couldn't be TEN seconds off the mark, but I guess he was...

 		I think the tape was suppose to be an "exit strategy" for J

The tape was put there as bait. He could either not go and find out what's at the tower, or he could and keep it going.

He fell for it.

I noticed that too, I had to watch it several times. It might bust be some coincidentally placed metal fixtures in the background, but then again, its painfully evident that there is something out of the ordinary in that shot...it's really creeping me out Shocked

My mistake, you got it just right.

Strikes me everytime I watch it, I'm afraid I'm far too hung up on it by now to accept it as something else. Of course it could be, I'm just saying. Doesn't seem to be a wall. The focus (or lack of it) wouldn't land like that on a backer wall, but on a smaller, closer, object.

And, as I've noted before, after this moment or segment om moments (blood/black and white distortion/face), Seth really kinda looses and gets the shakes, while Alex seem to remain fairly calm.
