as gupfee mentioned on the netcast last night
The news part of this post is: 1. COAP has extended the deadline for submissions of games to April 19,2010, so if you are interested in making a game (labyrinth, part of the Ring ARG for the Olympics, was played at COAP two years ago) submit one. 2. as long as the weather is good, COAP is a great event as a participant or volunteer or both. 3. The organizers were at ARGFest 2008, catherine herdlick spoke, and she was aweseome.

The social interaction part of this post is that so far: bagsbee, EGo, Gupfee and myself are already registered. I'm not walking with a cane anymore, so I may even be able to take part in some events.
