RSS Feed

I have a phpbb3 forum (just like this one) and am wanting to create a RSS Feed so that I can post the newest replies and posts on another website.

(Kind of like what unfiction.com has in their side menu)

Does anyone know how to do this?

(Yes, I've looked up how to do it on other sites, but I'm so confuzzled by everything. It's all Greek to me. I'm still learning all this php crap.)

Small detail - I think you'll find this forum is actually phpBB 2, not 3. I believe the RSS support is native in 3, and at least differs in implementation to that in 2.

I dread the day this forum updates/'upgrades' to phpBB 3, because it's going to break a LOT of old posts with it's lack of html code support - including html image tags. Bad enough the forum skin/theme system is different and there's almost no updated or new templates for 3 as yet.

ow do I make this show up in a RSS Feed?

I currently am running a website and it is a discussion forum. I want to know, how do I make RSS feeds for parts of the forum. For example, when a user makes a new thread in a certain section of the forum, how do I make this show up in a RSS Feed?

How do I create a RSS feed for my forum?

Thanks

EDIT - Greetings! Putting a bunch of links in a faux signature to spam something is not acceptable here. Please don't do this again. -xnb

I used Chaitgear which is a zip file and contains CG-Feedread (which I think you might be looking for)

It's been a while since I actually downloaded and installed it. So I'm fuzzy on the details...

Hope this helps..

 rss feed
rss feed use phpbb3

I use phpbb3 for this site's discussion area. It's not a particularly popular section of the website, but it does attract one type of commenter – spammers.

Spammers like to create posts that link to their own site. They do this for two reasons – one is to drive traffic directly to their site. The other is to increase their Search Engine Results Page ranking.....
