I increase volume to max like Ifsogirl, couldn't figure out anything.
I tried reverse the whole file with Audacity, couldn't figure out anything.
But since I am new at these audio processing stuff, maybe you guys can extract something more from the track than I ?
(Edited for typo)

I'm kind of an audiophile.
The lady is playing portal on the lappy, so when it's free ill dl the track and listen to it with my sennheisers and see if I can't pick anything abnormal out of the music :]

I can hear something, but haven't had any luck pulling it out. What I'm hearing has a bit of a 'chipmunk' quality to it with little reverb. You have to listen in some of the quieter sections to really hear it, namely from 1:16 to 1:22 and again from 1:31 to 1:37. It also sounds to me like it's repeating.

I hear it too, but of course I'm without any of my proper audio programs this week. I'll tool around with it in the morning, if it's still not found, and see what I can pull out.

After equalizing the MP3 and choosing softer audio and some reverberation I hear one different voiced "DEAD" at 1:16 yet nothing clearly audable at 1:31.

that's a strong possibility; however, I believe that if that's the case we should figure out her "unfinshed business" before we go about breaking the news to her :p

Guess we should ALL attempt to reassuringly pry some more info from her.
