Tim's dog was never mentioned again, but as far as Tim was concerned, animals were being left in Brian's yard (at least I'm pretty sure that it was Brian that Tim mentioned.) When Jay asked him about if the animals were pets, Tim replied that no, he didn't think so, he wasn't sure. Seems like an odd thing to be pretty oblivious about, huh?

But in any case, if Alex's dog straight up disappeared, it wouldn't be surprising. Whose dog was brought up in the Gazebo Entry? (or whichever one that had the dog barking and Alex getting pissed?) Was that a crew-member's animal, or just a dog that happened to be on the set along with the children that we briefly hear?

Quote:
Oh, I didn't see that. Sorry.

Oh, no worries! I mentioned it way back and I don't think anybody noticed it. >_> It doesn't rule out that TTA could still be trying to help. It just seems that he's enjoying being kind of a dick in the process!

what ever happened to this dog?

I read somewhere (I don't remember where) that Alex took his dog with him and that the dog's fine. Am I imagining this? Anyone knows?

So, what happened to the mouse?

I mean jay's car =P
We can clearly see jay coming out of his car during entry 23, then we're told he suddenly woke up in his house.
So either he doesn't really care about his car or he simply forgot about it.
It's a nice car btw (I've seen it oog).

Lol!

It could always be that he drove himself home and hasn't left the house in long enough to bother checking! Or maybe he peeked out of his blinds and saw it there so it's not worth mentioning?

(Also: you stalker. XD)

Not sure about the dog, but I have a feeling that the only reason that there'd be such decisive evidence would be so that people who were all worried about harm to animals would shut up. XD

On an unrelated note, (and trout me if it's been blathered to death about before) in rewatching #16+, it seems most likely that Jay first comes to the house when it's in a state of disarray -- crap's all over the floor, garbage bags in the kitchen, there's a huge tool kit up at the top of the stairs, dried blood in the bathroom, etc.

It seems like if Jay had just got an anonymous tip about the place, somebody else had also just recently discovered it and was beginning to get it cleaned up. The blood that Jay found could have belonged to Alex three years ago, along with all of the ripped up stuff. Somebody else seems to have been making a concerted effort to make the place somewhat more habitable... or maybe they were making it easier for Jay to access.

It just seems odd that things would be tidier by the time that he comes back in #23, and that even in #16 there's evidence that things are being fixed and cleaned up and carted off in garbage bags! (And in that case, what the heck is that business about the screen door being ripped off by its hinges? o.O Too big a job for the tools at hand? Maybe something that Slenderman caused in the process of showing up there more frequently?

well the thing is, in the entries where slenderman is stalking alex's house, wouldn't his dog be barking it's little head off? I'm aware that a couple of them have their audio removed, so it's possible that it was barking then. But what about when slenderman actually comes inside his house? can't dogs somewhat sense when there is something wrong?

Wow, yeah, that's an important thing to note. If the dog was taken, it would have had to happen pretty early! Poor guy, if Slendy erased his memory of said dog, that would be just another reason to be irritable without really knowing why...

actually the dog is safe. look through J's tweets and it should be in there. unless someone messaged him and asked him directly and he replied. if u want to know for sure check in the last trailhead. which btw this new one is seriously repeating the last trailhead hxc. but yeah the dog is safe and has absolutely no point in the plot of mh because J states something along the lines of "alex took his dog with him when he moved". i dont think it was that exactly. but close to it

I just rewatched entry 15 and Tim says that dead animals were left in Alex's front yard.
Jay: "So you wouldn't know what might have caused Alex to move away?"
Tim: "No, um, I know Brian did say something about like, I think, someone was leaving dead animals in like, his uh, like his front yard or something."
Also, in Entry 9 Alex yells at one of the cast members for bringing their dog, so it is not his.
The animals in the front yard thing has always stuck out to me as a very overlooked piece of evidence, probably because we can't make any speculation on it really. The other thing I feel gets overlooked is that in Entry 3, when you say Alex's knees while he's sitting on the couch, he is ripping out pages from a magazine, not doodling his slender-man drawings. You can see the magazine page if you pause the video. That means the magazine collection was an idea early on, not just used in entry 16 to make the house look like a mess. As far as what it means, I have no idea.

Woops, my bad for the mixup then.

Re: #3, I hadn't thought of the ripping up of magazines as being significant, good catch!

so would the magazines and blood being there the first time J went into the house mean that the house was kept the same until he got there and then stuff started getting moved around? mmh just maybe.

That's what I was thinking -- just before Jay was given the heads-up, somebody had begun to tidy the place up and try to fix things a little. Then when the pills went missing, they tore the place up looking for them. Then when he goes back again the tidying had resumed (at least in part!).

That could be why Jay can't turn the lights on in #16, but in Return the hall light is on. Someone could have had power restored as well. (Or fixed the lightbulbs and there was power all along.) Either way, it seems as though whoever gave Jay the tip about the house wanted it to look somewhat less disgusting than it was, or else wanted to make it somewhat habitable again.

Droshi, I just read that during my Creative Writing class right now, and had to quell my urge to jump out of my chair and scream in excitement.

....I did squeal though. A little bit.
