Oh, okay, I just rewatched entry 15 and it just says he hadn't been seen. I thought I remembered it saying he moved away, but I guess it didn't.

I was just wondering; I had never heard about him moving away before.

Man what even happened to Brian? And Sarah? They just sort of... disappeared. Someone should ask Jay about it or tell him to investigate or something

So it seems that the theory at hand is that Slend-dog is a paranormal entity who can teleport and control how he himself looks, with the exception of his face. It makes sense that he would have SOME sort of weakness, so the water would seem to act as a sort power reducing effect. On the other hand, there is also the argument that water strengthens Slendy, so I think we should decide which the more likely possibility is. As Dray mentioned, Tim did take a swig of water before the screen finally shit itself, it could very well be Slendy getting pissed off at the fact that water is present. Or it could just be a coincidence. On a side note, I'm not sure if anyone has brought it up before but has anyone considered the shell casing found in Brian's house could be a remnant from an act of suicide? It would be plausible that Brian had his own mindfuck torture going on and decided to end it, which would also explain all the blood. Hell, if Alex is Masky then seeing Brian's dead body might have just provided that emotional trigger to make him snap. So he got rid of it, explaining why Brian is missing, and decided to take matters into his own, skinny, grimy little adorable psychopathic hands. Of course, just a theory.
This is kind of weird quoting myself, anyway, around like 6 pages ago we were discussingthe issue of water and it's role in the series, I just wanted to let everyone know that beforethe interview itself in entry 15 Tim was drinking from a water fountain. It probably means nothing at all and is pure coincidence, I just thought it was a little interesting. But of course, all we can deduct from this is that Tim is an avid drinker of quality h2o XD
EDIT: Sorry if this has already been pointed out, I tend to get lost in the posts so I might not have noticed

If water is a way to ward off the Slendy distortion, then him filling up on it before the interview and trying very hard not to allow distortion to flicker onto the camera might partially explain why he was so fidgety and nervous. Not just because of the questions he's being asked, Tim could have been trying very hard to be 'quiet'. Did a damned good job of it if that whole idea syncs up.

If not then we're chasing crimson fishes I think.

I like the idea of him quieting himself when he's actively paying attention to it. It had occurred to me also that Slendy might not necessarily be a solid-formed monster in so much as he's a projection that's been made solid, or that can make himself solid. If he's coalescing from some electrical state I suppose it'd make sense that there would be a tearing effect (god I have no idea really, but it sounds neat from a narrative standpoint!)

Back to the water for a moment: it seems that Tim's shadow stops getting interference-y after he sips from his bottle. Maybe he's flushing Slendy out after all?

If you combine this theory with the theories of slendy being adverse to water AND the epilepsy-pill theory... Well, water is conductive, but could absorb slendy's non-corporeal energies, while his field of energy could screw with someone's brain functions and cause epileptic seizures and similar odd activity. Taking the pills would reduce your brain's electrical activity, causing your brain's activity level to sort of... level off to a normal-ish level. Combine this with the water theory and, in the case of Tim, you could potentially ward off Slendy's mind-influence (assuming he functions in the electical-field form fashion described) indefinitely, provided it doesn't grow stronger.

Someone trout me.

In a sense, he's watching himself constantly with the surveillance cameras. Razz

But it's nice to hear from J every once in a while, even if he doesn't have anything meaningful to say...

Oh Jay, you don't have it as bad as some people. Or maybe you have it worse?
