Still on the edge waiting for an update of any kind, I keep getting fooled into thinking TTA has a new video and then immediatly let down T__T I'm running out of gas on things to talk about MH-wise too, the teleportation debate is starting to get pretty repetitive without any new evidence
Side Note: Yaay 100 pages of no life Very Happy

oh ok I didn't see it before. I downloaded and read it, and it was good so far, but I thought you meant a timeline as in the chronological order of the Entries, not when they were posted (like how 6 comes right after 1, 12 would be near the beginning, etc)

Now I wanna work on that >_<

That's essentially what the second edition will be. It will contain all the entries, in order, with analysis, and I will attempt to put them in order and make sense of things. I'm doing an audio analysis of TTA's responses to see if any of them contain the missing audio, too.

Also, welcome Saiyan King! Smile

Many people speculate that it's the initials of Alex Kralie, I'm not exactly sure if his middle name is R but chances are that it is :/ that's my guess at least

Pff, you can have a life. You just gotta balance the fantardism with the "okay, not thinking about this anymore." Easier when you've already gone around in circles a few times in a row though.

Enjoy! Drop your two cents (or twenny dollahs)-worth and join in on the convos and arguments. XD Help us psychically brainwave the creators to put out the next video. D: My fix has not been met!

Another theory is that the ark is a particular place around which the phenomena is centered.

I rather dislike the "Alex R. Kralie" theory.

I dislike that theory too, mostly because it's based on absolutely nothing. J himself has said that he doesn't know Alex's middle name.

I'm going with the theory that J is the ark, and totheark means "to J". Since an ark would be considered a safe place or thing, maybe J is immune to Slenderman in some way? It would explain why Slendy never seems to harm him, even when he has the opportunity.

Talk about disliking theories, I never really liked any of the theories that involved Jay having some strange other personality XD Well i'm sure Marble Hornets will make some attempt to explain it whenever they start actually answering questions

I may sporadically pop in and ask for screen caps/theories/help with things. I appreciate the offer; If you think you've got anything that'd be useful, would you mind pm-ing it to me?

Actually, you know...this encyclopedia could use an awesome cover...that's gonna require awesome cover art... *winks at Dray, MissDelirium, and Dotman* Wink

Regarding the boundaries theory, there's tape-blasting happening in #17 as well even though Slendy is outside and the crew are indoors. Apparently #17 happened quite early in the sequence as well.

Ohshi-- XD You probably won't get me for cover art, at least not until I've caught up on other things. Only reason I'm getting away with that poster is because I've got a 'do whatever the hell you want, just make it look good' class and I'll actually need to show people the finished thing!

So after re-watching all the videos a few times, here are some thoughts I had. I'm sure I'm re-hashing a ton of previous stuff probably posted already, so for that I apologize for coming in so late. Us "CloverField" heads have been stalking for the new C2 viral, but, nothing but crap so far..

Entry #11 is the biggest video to date. Why? It's the only time when more than one person sees slenderman, acknowledges him and attempts to communicate with him. It's also noteworthy that the distortion on the tape is not noticed by the cameraman. So this probably should be considered the "first" video since Alex is acting in a normal, rational manner here.

Entry 14 shows us Alex with some type of injury (some poor bloodwork there btw!) after Slenderman enters his room. Now whether this injury is sustained by a physical altercation or not is unknown, this is the first possible injury caused by him. In other videos our masked friend resorts to aggression however he seems more human than supernatural.

If indeed the house seen in multiple entries is Brian's, there seems to be a correlation with the illness (coughing) associated with the house itself.
THe mask guy seems to have some type of seizure in Entry 18 while attacking Jay, then Jay has an epsiode of coughing immediately afterwards that prevents him from ripping off the mask (or if it was I, stabbing the masked guy 203 times).

Tim's shirt in Entry #20 matches the mask guy in #19. Not revealing anything new there obviously.

Entry#23 is the first and only time Jay sees Slenderman.

The element of missing time is present as reported in alien abduction cases. It's pretty evident that either Slenderman and/or Tim have some ability to manipulate time and space as entry 24 indicates.

So only after Jay provokes Slenderman does he show up, after repeatedly being the target of the masked guy. But Alex may have provoked Slenderman in Entry 11, causing the stalking to begin on him. The original sightings of Slenderman originate from the wooded area, so it's my guess Slenderman is ghost that was provoked by Alex's filming of possibly his burial area and then the repeated intrusions caused the escalation of Alex's stalking of him by Slenderman. What doesn't fit is that if Tim is indeed the Masked guy, he's not dead as Entry 15 indicates, so what's the correlation there? I'm stumped to that.

Hey everybody. New guy here who's finally figured out a way to get around Unforum insisting my IP address is a googlebot (yay proxy). Anyways, I've been a huge fan of Marble Hornets for a solid month or two now (even have the mask and doll Razz), so I'm glad to finally have found a way to join the community.

Now, trout me if this is old (which I'm sure it is), but I was playing with the totheark WAV files Dray posted (Thanks Dray!) and started fiddling with Deluge. Now, it's obvious that there's a slowed down and reversed voice saying "Alex" in the video. It's even mentioned in the wiki that at double speed, it sounds like a girl. However, I tried setting it to only gain 50%, and found a very distinct "Tss" at the start of each "Alex" making "It's Alex". Useful information? Probably not. Probably old as well. However, I was just excited at finding something I hadn't heard about before and figured it was a way of getting my feet wet in the discussion Smile

I love #11 for a couple of reasons -- Slendy is not just one person's horror-critter, he's a multi-tasking bougieman! He also dispels the usual trope of 'monsters only come out at night'... the comfort of daylight just ain't enough.

Off topic, but d'you happen to know of any sites with bloodwork tutorials? I was recently trying to google some reference images for a painting and didn't have a tonne of luck. (Also good to know for the annual zombie walk! >:3)

I think I've seen mention that the doorway that leads to the basement is perhaps a portal directly to Slendy's domain. It could be throwing off its own distortion if Slendy has used it enough!

I also wasn't sure if it was Jay coughing or Masky coughing in #18. Seemed almost like it was Masky who had started coughing after he'd finished with his epileptic fit.

Probably extremely significant. Need to wait on more evidence to see whether or not this becomes a pattern though.

Lots of people are unimpressed with the thought that Slendy is an alien. It would fill a precedent (big blank head, tall, suit and tie) but if they're at all going by popular demand, he's probably something else.

Also, I don't think it's fair yet to assume that Tim has such abilities... he does affect the camera (blurring, faint thru extreme distortion) but those could be byproducts of his own experience with Slendy. There are people around here who can't agree on the TTT (teleportation/time travel) being the end result of #24 anyways, even!

Masky could be any number of things. People postulate that there's more than one person who takes up the mask, even. It could be a possession by Slendy, or a protection against him. Masky (whoever he is, multiple people or a single person) seems to act a little 'off', like he's operating at a different level of awareness. We see a lot of fight-or-flight responses from him, no talking, and some rather odd lack of understanding about personal space if the bed-sitting is any indication. His intentions still seem unclear; whether he's doing all of this and is aware of it, or if he's 'sleep-walking' just like Jay appears to be doing in his blacked-out state...

In any case, if Slendy is a ghost (or other paranormal creature) who affects electrical equipment, he could be causing brain static or other strange anomalies in the person wearing the mask. We haven't seen Masky and Slendy in the same place at the same time, even!

Hmm! No 'tss' noise occurs in the actual entry! It could just be the sound of the blinds clattering that managed to get into the clip, they could potentially make the 'tss' noise you're hearing, though they're not immediately before Jay calls out.

Ha ha, would be nice if it was a hint that TTA was Alex though! Very Happy
