I mean, to each their own, I guess. And I guess it makes him an interesting narrator in a sense. However, doesn't it seem a bit odd that after EVERYTHING that's happened, Jay still continues to live in that house? Any normal person would have booked it by now. What kind of shit has Jay been through that something like this wouldn't make it click in that he should leave?! XD Is this normal for him, maybe borderline creepy at most? Good god! XD


I think he realizes after looking at the tapes that getting out of there probably won't change much. He might've thought Alex had escaped from all of this at first, but since TTA showed up I think it's become obvious that it's going to take more than just leaving.
What I've been wondering is why hasn't he just looked Alex up? Even asked Tim for Brian's last name if he didn't know it. Seems like it would've been the logical thing to do.

Although I guess this IS kind of a horror film and if they did "the logical thing" in horror films, they wouldn't be any fun.

 		I am wondering how the creators are going to pull the next video in line with a relatively believable timeline. They started out trying to keep things running as if events were being relayed in real time. Now it seems that they've been able to keep to a roughly biweekly schedule, which, while somewhat of a relief for me (I don't have to worry about F5ing the youtube channels until the weekend to get my fix, for example! XD) the predictability feels damaging to the integrity of the story happening as an alternate reality.

TL;DR: How are they going to justify putting a threat like 'I AM COMING FOR YOU' off for however long it takes for more communication, assuming that there is going to be more? If this were sticking to ARG-hours wouldn't the threat have been followed up on soon after Jay was made aware of it?

I'm also seriously questioning Jay's common sense, though I'll leave his intelligence alone for now. If nothing else, he's been as calm as a rock through all of this, and what he's experienced has been pretty messed up. Unless he has decided to leave and has been wise enough not to twitter about it beforehand, sitting around and waiting for trouble to happen is just asking for it. I loathe it when characters who seem relatively intelligent act really stupid for the sake of the plot. XD Please, please let him pull a smart and not get caught up in shenanigans without a fight!

Squidbutt, I totally agree. He should have looked for the other folks working on MH... I keep thinking that it's too late for that, now. :\ How the eff can he trust any of the MH group if he gets ahold of them, if Tim/masky seems to be a bad guy (or at least a control hoarder)?

Quite true. It would be sorta lame if Jay just did what any typical horror movie protagonist would do.

I don't know if I have anything useful to reply to this with. A knife fight would be so lame. DX A failular knife fight interrupted with a teleportation to Slendy's lair might be slightly less painful to watch.

It's weird and kind of dumb, but I can't see this drawing to a satisfying close from where we're standing. I know that everyone feels that this is the last act, but it seems more like the climax. Like we're going to see some seriously rising action and BAM, a Slendy... and then maybe some denouement?

What's hard to imagine, I guess, is how they're going to get this to parse with youtube uploads. The Masky-coming-for-Jay surprise is really deviating away from investigative recording. I can't see how they're going to reason away showing us more of this action without pulling back and moving the series into a more TV/entertainment/third person perspective.

Brain may also just be fried. XD Can probably disregard this entire post.

About video distortion.
Have you tried shifting distorted part into place? Seems that it fits well. Is possible that it could make a bit different picture.

 		ive been thinking. all this speculation on if slendy is a ghost or an alien but no one has stated the most obvious, that hes a demon. read the mythology on him. hes been reported since 9000 b.c., he can control other peoples actions (demonic possession),can damage and interfere with electrical equipement ( demons and satan have dominion over everything on earth, including things we create). to me it just seems the evidence points to the fact that he is one of the demons cast down onto earth. now if they are using the exact mythos , i dont know, so i guess they can make him anything. i just thought this was a good thing to point out since no one else had before. take it as you will, just my opinion, with looking at all the evidence, it just seems thats the best option for him to be

one other thing to add, if i may, reading up on the mythos, it says that slendy can transport people into other dimensions, maybe thats what happened to everyone, poof off to slendy land

IF there are multiple Maskies then maybe TTA is the leader. Maybe that's why Entry ##### kept switching from plural to singular. TTA wants J, he makes Masky/Maskies get him.[/u]

I often wonder the same thing. I even joked that he calls the police and says there are homeless people squatting at Brian's house or that J turns Brian's house into a Meth Lab so it gets condemned, hahaha.

Meaning:
1)all videos of user #totheark came in a form of replies to Jay's videos
2)as a "reply to the Ark"

*or the Ark, like Noas' Ark or the Ark of the Covenant, maybe some other Ark, like Jay contains something... important... a knowledge or power... even if he's not aware of it
*on second thought it could be ironic nickname, as Jay possesses the tapes with knowledge about Slenderman

 		The importance of the script
a sudden notion
OK, this just hit me.
If we consider the script of Marble Hornets important, how's about this?:
The script concerns a main character who leaves town (as Alex did), and then finally comes back to town again to find everything different and empty.
Perhaps the script is prescient or from the future? Maybe now Alex HAS come back and finds his world has changed, and people are "empty" / "gone".
Should we be expecting a forest fire soon? Is that the final battleground?
