Turning off the lights to see outside, but turning them back on again because you're scared and think that by leaving them on, nothing can get you -- or that whoever's stalking you will think that you're still awake and won't try to sneak in.

Makes sense to me!

What I want to know is why he decided to leave the lights off while making his drawings. It must have been hard to draw cryptic pleas for help in the dark D:

Maybe he didn't want to see what he was drawing.

Doesn't seem like the lights are off, it just seems like he's in a section of the room that's really dim. It's probably less that it's too dark to see and more that he's got his glasses off that's causing him to squint not an inch or two from the paper.

Maybe it was that he was napping and was drawing everything, just coming out from a dream?

hey guys long time lurker, just joined.

I think him leaving the light on while sleeping is like a kid sleeping with a quilt on for protection against monsters. When he's drawing it looks like a lamp is on and he just doesnt hav his glasses on. thats my two cents

I posted this a few days ago but didn't get any feedback. Sorry to be quoting myself, but I really need to hear what you think of it.

What is that? Is that wiring, as in electrical wiring, or just wires, like steel cables keeping the tower together? It's been bugging me for some time now, just thought I'd get a second opinion.

Sorry, ptlundholm, I had noticed that and I didn't put my thoughts to words!

Personally? I figure that its steel cabling to keep the tower together. There doesn't appear to be any suggestion of electrical wiring (or at least, not above ground) and if the wire was meant to support a current there would likely be some evidence of shielding or grounding going on... why keep an electrical current moving through the structure as one would through an electrical fence when it's in the middle of a park and easily accessible? XD

The wire on the right is a little odd looking; I have no idea why it'd be there (I'm no engineer!) but it still doesn't look like it's part of an electrical setup to me!

Slender hunter: Alex Kralie's twitter
Are they connected, or is it a gamejack?

http://twitter.com/slenderhunter

Hey everyone, I'm new here, and I am playing Marble Hornets.

I have found this twitter, which belongs to "Alex Kralie". Do you people think this is connected, or is it a gamejack?

Gamejack. Stupid, stupid gamejack.
At least if someone's going to make another SM story, don't steal someone else's characters.
I hate the internet sometimes.

Oh, and welcome to the forums, etc.

There's a 99% chance that it's a gamejack. If you'd note, all of MH's accounts (both YouTube and Twitter) tend to follow each other; you will note that the MarbleHornets twitter is not following "Slenderhunter."

The end~

-edit-
Actually, scratch that. The totheark account (did we get confirmation on whether it was real or not, or just a placeholder?) isn't followed by J's. Hm.

It's possibly a gamejack...I dunno, I'll keep my eyes open on it.

My main problem with it is overuse of ellipses I don't think I've ever seen the term "SlenderMan" used by characters in-game. They normally use synonyms for that, or don't mention his name at all.

Plus, it seems a tad rushed to introduce Alex here, at this point, with no introduction. He posted three tweets in three minutes, while the MH crew would probably post a message, then allow it to drum up interest before posting again. Or something along those lines. Certainly a gamejack.

Does someone feel like forwarding this to J to get his view on it, or to at least alert the creators?

Cool, looks like Alex is alive and chillin' in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. There's one mystery solved!

I mean yeah, this is pretty dumb.

Not particularly, because obvious gamejack is obvious.
The posts don't fit their style or direction at all. I say we just ignore it.
