 		Just in case anyone didn't know or didn't really care. In entry # 12, Alex and his camera crew all see Slenderman standing there and talk about him, until the video cuts out when Alex begins to walk towards Slenderman calling to Slenderman. Now I'm extremely surprised at this entry because of what the effects of approaching Slenderman should be under those circumstances. Like what the hell happened after dumb-ass, sounds like Sarah, turned off the camera? Though I was mostly surprised because I didn't notice Alex walking towards Slenderman the first 2 or 3 times I saw it. I find that odd. Anyways, I believe this to be extremely mind-breaking. I believe that whatever happened there was probably the most significant thing in this entire....case, should I call it that? Also, in the video response by totheark titled "Impurity" the word begin is in it at the beginning of it and later, at the bottom of the screen during the end of the rain part, operator fades into view. Then at end the letters: T, H, E, R, E, W, A, S, M, R, E are hidden in the zeros. Looks like it might say "there was more" but the o is missing in more for that to work, though with all those 0s maybe it's implied. Operator could mean that Slenderman is the Operator since the video is a response to entry # 12 and the "Operator symbol" is the "Slenderman symbol." Not meaning Slenderman was here or whatever some people believe but that he owns it or whatever. Sort of like a gang marking their territory with graffiti, implying they own it or in this case he owns it/it's his. Also, the word begin could mean this was the first encounter with Slenderman, or at least noteable one (entry # 2 could have happened before this I don't know and also don't know any of this either I'm just guessing), and I think Jay confirms that by saying at the beginning how Alex is calm and all. Leading me to believe this happened before Alex being stalked, aside from entry # 2 and maybe a couple others( who knows If entry # 2 was even before this?), and whatever else happened. I just feel like this is an extremely important entry and a defining moment in whatever all this is, the thought of approaching and talking to Slenderman like that just seems so weird and out of place for as far as Marble Hornets standards go. I think. I mean even if we saw what had happened how comes during other entries no one talks about this event or how could something not have happened to have changed them mentally from whatever happened there in entry # 12. I just don't get it, what the fuck? I don't understand. Also I believe that those plants being filmed during the rain in Impurity are the tree tops from entry # 12 because of the wires behind them. They line up with the Electrical lines in the entry.

Some have theorised that this was the first time the Marble Hornets cast crossed paths with Slendy; perhaps their little film intruded upon Slendy's home. They initially thought Slendy was Tim (?), then realised it wasn't Tim and Alex went over there to get him to get off their set.

It is... unlikely that "dumb-ass Sarah" turned the camera off. See my response below for further information.

Quite to the contrary, the "O" might be there, but the zeroes make it look non-existent. Quite obviously, this means that there is more footage to Entry #12; perhaps Sarah left the camera on, but Slendy's presence caused some problems with the footage (i.e. deleting it outright). Or, perhaps, J saw the full footage, but only decided to show some of the footage for some reason; regardless, Sarah (or whoever this "Camerawoman" was) apparently did leave the camera rolling, hence "there is more."

Unlike gangs, Slendy is never shown at any point to be capable of wielding the many instruments (e.g. chalk, pencil, pen) that the Operator Symbol has been shown in and drawing that symbol. Why, quite to the contrary: Alex has been shown to furiously scribble down the Symbol. Now, this "Operate Symbol" can have several meanings: the titular one; it's meaning of a "bulb" in circuit diagrams; first and foremost, however, is the fact that it looks like a circle being crossed out. Now, in stick-diagrams, what is used to represent the face? Why, it's a circle - so, one can interpret the "O with an X" symbol to mean "no face;" quite like Mr. Thin.

...um, what? From what little I can interpret from this rather nonsense paragraph is that you think that Entry #2 cannot be the "beginning" due to Entry #12. Now, this is a point: however, you must realises that J is not an expert analyser. He has a big black bag of tapes (or more then one!) and is choosing tapes out at random, putting them into his computer, then watching them. Now, comparing Alex's antics between #1 and #2 (which are the only two "Slender sightings" that J had seen, don't forget), you would think that #2, wherein Alex is perfectly composed, came before #1. It's natural to assume that it is the beginning. Then he found Entry #12, which came after Entry #5.

Now now now, there are some facts you must consider. Firstly, it is that Entry #5 may be the first chronological episode in the series. However, Entry #2 features Alex talking about a "really tall guy" - this does not mean that "wooo I saw that guy from filming the other day." Why, one could assume #2 came before #12; Slendy has shown the ability to erase memories. Entry #2/#12 could have come in either order, since Slendy could have blanked Alex's memory at the end of either, then he sees him again.

tl;dr slendy can erase memories, plus he looked relatively normal in #12.

It also likely that Impurity's treetops were used for symbolic purposes, or something.

 		I just hope there is a ending in sight. Marble Hornets could be ruined if they kept brining out pointless entries in order to prolong the series. On the other hand, I can't wait for that date.

The exact page the numbers occur on seems to be a page of ships coordinates or something. The entire book seems to be...something on philosophy...I think...

I seriously doubt it had any relevance to this ARG...

Maybe it's a numerical sequence? I'll look into that in the morning, if no one else has by then..

that is interesting that it might have something to do with ships, consider the tta video (whatever one it is) includes a ship. given they are two completely different time periods it might have some connection. then again, i may be one of the many that look to deep into this shit.
