Long time lurker, first time poster. Been thinking about those numbers all night, 35:77//47, I also noticed what it pulled up on google as mentioned several posts above; however, I don't really think it fits.

Philosophical Transactions by the Royal Society is a journal in England, kinda like the New England Journal of Medicine is here in the states. It doesn't really have anything to do with philosophy at all. As for the exact journal entry, it is talking about an experiment on the earths magnetism. From what I can gather the experimenter was riding around on a boat and then taking magnetic measurements (of due north?).

Anyway there are literally hundreds of different number combinations on the pages before and after the one google picks out for you so I really doubt this is the answer. I'm still trying to think of what it might mean but I have a feeling we haven't been given all the information. This is what I have so far:

1) // means - in old english
2) : is the same as division in math also used in ratios so 35:77 can be simplified to 5:11
3) 35 is biprime meaning multiplied by two primes 5 and 7
4) 77 is also bimprime 7 and 11
5) 47 is true prime
6) It doesn't seem like it is anything from a bible passage because most books don't have 35 chapters or 77 verses

The biggest question I have is who sent the message; if we believe it is TTA then maybe the numbers have something to do with his posts...

Hmm...I don't think it means anything. Mathematically at least.

I've tried look for a numerical sequence in both numbers, and I've tried all kinds of mathematical interpretations of the":" and "//" from a square-root to addition, but I got nothing. The only significance I think this might have (Besides the 4/18/10 data) is something from a holy book or other significant text.

Has anyone tried the Qur'an? There might be a passage in there...maybe...

well, if you look at the way storylines played out for other people in slenderman related stories, i think jay has merely been a way to show everyone deep inside the rabbit hole what each of them went through. i'm sure we knew jay as a friend, he would seem like he was going crazy.

almost all other character's i've seen have at some point left their houses in search of a new place to stay safe. shortly afterwards their home is destroyed in some way. and then soon after that, kerput, they're killed. (just like in "Just Another Fool")

In that case, I very much want to know why that hasn't been the case for Masky/TTA. And I hope that we're not left with Jay 'going missing'. I don't need to see bodies hanging from trees, but it would be very nice to see some kind of show down.

I STILL hope that he survives. XD That hope is very tiny, but it is still there. (Of course, if I was planning on killing off a character, I would milk that for all it was worth by making him have connections with people and then cackling evilly as they tried madly to fix things, slowly stripping away options until they were left with the stark realization that everything the players were doing to help was only making things worse...)

Truth be told, Jay should have called the police as SOON as he was attacked by Masky. The fact that he didn't call the police after Masky BROKE INTO HIS HOUSE makes me want to knock some sense back into Jay.
