I don't see those as definitive clues. Film production is tricky business, just because the actor who plays Tim also doubles as the man-under-the-mask, doesn't necessarily mean that Tim=TTA. In the context of the story, however. I think the arguement for it is weak.

Let's not forget the pills which we see Tim taking -- and then TTA invades Jay's house after Jay took them from the abandoned house, leaving the pill bottle empty and label-less.

Or the distortion when we see Tim through the lens in entry #20. But the big one is the pills. That'er made it seem like the creators were putting up a big "TIM IS MASKY" sign to me.

The new entry made me think. There was another masked person in the video, so maybe they are like an organization trying to protect people from slendy. The first time we see Jay's masky is when he attacks Jay at Brian's house, trying to get him to go away. The first time Jay saw slendy consciously is when he went to Brian's house. TTA could also be a part of this acting more as an informer or the voice of the organization or something. Mabey the reason that Alex seems so calm despite the aggressive slendy encounter is because he joined this organization and knows how to at the very least avoid slendy. Also what if this organizations name is Ark and maybe they are going to try to recruit Jay. These are just a bunch of ideas that have been running through my head.

My boyfriend had a thought.
We've been watching Mad Men, and then upon seeing the "operator" symbol again, he noticed that it looks a lot like the hobo symbol for "good place for a handout" that was used at some point in the show.

Relevant to Slender Man's background as told by MH? It's just speculation, and there's no real evidence to support it. But it was cool, so I had to post it.

I'm really sorry if this has been discussed here before, but I have a weird question: Is it possible that totheark/the new masked person/someone else is no longer alive, but is being manipulated in a way that makes it seem as if they are alive in order to trap Jay?

I'm asking because while watching the new video, I began to think about the theory proposed on the wiki that Slenderman may need a proxy, but there doesn't seem to be much information on what would happen to such a proxy. In theory, Slendy kills someone (maybe through the process controlling them?) and can then manipulate the corpse to (badly) mimic human behavior. It might explain how Tim could be totheark – Tim is dead, but is animated by Slendy in order to attract people towards him. The new masked person is another person Slendy killed (probably Sarah). In theory, Slendy is collecting the bodies of the members of Marble Hornets and is using the remains to help bring people to him for whatever reason. Kind of like a portia spider, but it preys on humans.

Then again, portia spiders observe their prey so that they can figure out better ways to catch them. So what if Slendy starts refining his methods? Jay, be careful.

Now I'm not one usually to delve into slash, but this just adds on to my gag theory.

Slenderman is Alex Kralie's creepy stalker ex.

Jay and Alex went to the park to scout locations. There, Alex was enticed by a bizarre faceless man-thing into a relationship. Behind that building, they set a date.

The date consisted of them playing tag or hide and seek at the park at night. That's why Alex was running after Slenderman, and then Slendy after Alex. Alex removed the sound from the tape because they had compromising expressions of love. They set another date.

This date coincided with the day that Alex and the crew start filming. Alex, due to an unfortunate side-effect of Slender Man making people forget, forgot about the date and decided to film.

Also, the crazy notes Alex writes were love letters from their early days.

Slenderman thought that Alex had ditched him to hang with his peeps.

That's why Alex said "I hope he's not mad or anything."

Ok, going on. More appearances happen when Alex is hanging with his homies. Slenderman is going ">:I" at this point.

Then, Alex goes with Seth to break up with Slendy.

Alex is devastated as well, he still harbored feelings for slendy. In order to forget the whole thing, Alex considers burning the tapes, but then passes them onto Jay.

Alex skips town and settles down with a pretty young thing, leads a happy life.

MEANWHILE, Jay finally decides to take a look at the tapes. He's freaked out.

TTA/Masky is trying to hook up with Slendy, but can't find him. He figures Jay might be able to, considering Jay is closer to Alex.

Jay and Masky play their game of cat and mouse, and, thinking that Jay is Alex returning to him, Slendy pounces on Jay playfully, but then realizes Jay is not Alex.

LATER, Masky is so enraged that Slendy likes Jay now instead of him, he burns down Jay's apartment.

Then, the camera is activated. Slendy is still a supernatural being, and he travels to the camera.

What does he see? A blonde chick living with his dear Alex.

Of course he's enraged. His Alex with this...this...this HUSSY?

Alex decides to stay behind to explain it all to Slendy.


That's my bullshit theory, and if it turns out that it is true, I'll facepalm so hard that the universe itself shall shatter.

I wonder, I wonder.

The video teleports just when they get out of the room, could this possible mean. That she got teleported? It's the same sound as when Jay teleported in it's only encounter with Slendy.

So.

Especulation for two months in the future:

Alex get's the skull mask and meets Jay.
Questions will be answered.
Alex will be seriously pissed with Jay. Since he did brought TTA into the game, and TTA probably was the one that put the camera there in the first place.

And poor alex, his life got fucked over thanks to slendy TWICE.

But yeah when Jay arrives to Alex home I bet a wiffin that it will be empty.

I like the optimism that there's gonna be questions answered, and that there will be more Entries. Unfortunately, I don't share it. It really seems like this is the end.

The way they concluded it was perfect in its own way. Sure, it didn't answer many questions, but it left us wanting more, and with that unsettling feeling of paranoia and fear of the Slender Man, which is what the series was about all along. It answered Jay's main question: Is Alex alive? Obviously, the answer is yes, and Jay is going to continue to try and find him. It seems like a standard ending to a good scary movie. Creepy cliffhanger, with an ending that is open to interpretations/predictions and the possibility of a sequel/continuation.

I think it would be neat if Alex took Jay's place, and started up his own Twitter and YouTube accounts, but I don't see it happening any time soon. Perhaps there will be a follow up Response from totheark, but I think it's pretty much done.

And let's face it, I'd much rather this be the ending than "OMG Slendy was actually just a zombie goast which we banished once and for all with the power of friendship after Jay and Alex united! Tim's curse was lifted so he no longer has to be Masky! Let's hold hands and frolic under a rainbow!"

But seriously, it's really too bad that Alex won't just give Slendy the $20; his life would be so much easier.
