Someone may have already mentioned this, but what it might be is that TTA's actor/poster is away on vacation, remembering that J's actor is also a college kid irl, and with a life. So would TTA be as well?

How about this, why don't we state everything we DO know in a thread.


And we can work from the facts.

We DO know that Slenderman has been following Alex for some time.

We do know, that Seth was attacked in entrY #22.

We dO know, that Alex has been abdUcted by totheark/Slenderman at some point recently.

We do KNOW that totheark was able to get a video of the Abduction of Jay.

We do knoW Jay encountered "Masky" and came out of it with nothing more than memory loss.

We do know that someone, took Jay's knife (significant, it may not be, but it is a fact)

We do know the bottle of pills Jay took from Brian's (or Alex's?) House on the first visit was emptied sometime after he was at his home.

We dO know, Seth encountered something during his adventure with Alex.

We do know Alex drew several picTures with frantic messages, one of which pointed Jay back to the tower in entry #21.

We do know Jay has no memory of being in any of the videos he was given by Alex, though the evidence sHows he was indeed there.

We do know that in every video Slenderman appears in, video tearing or audio dIstortion is preSent.

We do know totheark has been one of the followIng: in contact with the tapes Alex given to Jay, has copies of these tapes, or has supernatural powers allowing him access to said tapes, in order to acquire missing audio from several tapes.


Feel free to arrange the above facts in any order you see fit, please add any other facts i may have miSsed, and feel free to copy and paste.

We know the filmed events (Unless filmed by Jay recently) took place three years ago. By this - I mean all of the Marble Hornets footage.

We know that Alex started getting real irritable and aggressive through out the filming. We also know he filmed himself at almost all hours of the day.

We know Alex gave Jay the tapes when he was going to burn them originally.

We know that Slendy didn't start showing up until the taping of Marble Hornets.
::Speculation:: Even if Slendy was following Alex, it doesn't seem he knew about him until the filming, because he seemed a lot more shocked than someone seeing him for the first time would.

We know that TTA is directly tied to the cast of Marble Hornets some how. What connection is unclear, but he doesn't seem to be an outside source.

That's my addition to the knowns.

As for things we need to know :
What was the importance of the mobile tweet from Jay that got distorted? Is that a code or is it nothing

Who is Masky? Is he a cast member of Marble Hornets, is he TTA, or is he a combination of the two?

What are Masky's motives? What are TTA's motives.

What is the significance of the 'operator symbol' does it ward off Slendy or does it attract him?

Why does the Red Tower have so much significance? It may have been in the area they were filming, but, why is it such a big deal? TTA/Masky could have left that tape anywhere else Jay had been.

What is the importance of the pill bottle, bullet casing, and 'slender doll'? What were the pills for? Did Jay take all the pills, or did Masky empty the bottle?

What did TTA mean by "human, therefore no" ? Was he using the philosophical 'Humans can't be trusted because we are liars by nature' stance, or is TTA something inhuman?
-I personally go with the first, but, who knows for sure.


If any of those have been answered, please lemme know and I'll edit them out.

I still think that the pills were what was keeping masky sane per se; Since the pills went missing around the time that he broke into J's house. From that point on we have not seen much of him. Masky first appeared after he took the pills from the house.

I've already posted this in the entry 22 thread, but I'll put it in here too just for reference.

My Theory:

We've never heard of Seth before, and Alex says 'I thought I could run away.'
Is it possible that Alex came back with Seth to see if it was still happening, took Seth to the place in entry #13 [because that's where he actually saw SM upclose,] found that the place was unlocked and went in? This would also explain why he says about burning the tapes, like he's going to try and track down J and insist he does it - or maybe he's already tried to track down everyone, but they're 'gone'? [at least, moved, anyway]

Just to clarify what I said before, I don't think we should find out what Slenderman IS per se, just what made him stalk the MH crew.

And these "things that we do and don't know"posts reminded me of a TON of loose ends that are still hanging I didn't even think of.

Edit: The Slender doll, the bullet casing...the blood in the sink...

What I was complaining about before was the constant introduction of these new mysteries out of left field, seemingly unrelated to what we already didn't know.

Entry 13 had audio distortion, but you're right about 11, unless the slenderman at 1:05 isn't real and the shadow wasn't slenderman.
