That is actually an EXCELLENT theory. I might be able to try it sometime this week, but maybe someone who isn't as lazy should do it. Because I think Flay might be onto something here.

That's an interesting idea. I don't think they were searching for Alex, though. I think if they were all searching for anything, it'd be Slender Man, and the reason they got sick/blacked out.

That leads me to another theory I've heard: We have Alex was blacking out and becoming aggressive/stressed out, which can be attributed to Slender Man stalking him. We've seen no evidence that Tim or Jay on their own were being stalked by Slender Man, yet we know they were both sick. Maybe Tim and Jay are/were both being stalked by totheark, and that's the reason they've been getting sick. Maybe Tim succumbed to totheark and/or his illness which turned him into Masky, and Jay is meant to be next.

I don't really like that theory though, as it would mean that totheark is a bad guy.


Ah, you're right. I've seen the videos a bunch of times, but it was all at once so for now, it's hard to tell which entry is which since I'm without YouTube right now.

Would you consider the "Return" video as J being stalked by SM?


I'm not sure about that one, because Slender Man doesn't really seem that interested in Jay. He comes around the corner, walks past Jay, and heads towards the cameraman. He then turns slightly before it cuts out. Jay certainly seems to be watching him though.

No, Brian is the one in the dark shirt who walks with Alex on camera as part of the story for Marble Hornets. Seth is only on camera for a second. He says "okay" as he walks in front of the camera at 0:13.

At this point, I think he's either going to Tweet that he got back and the Entry's being uploaded, or he's gonna say he blacked out or something and forgot what day it was. Maybe then we'll get a totheark response of something happening at the house that Jay narrowly missed? If that were the case, I'd be less upset that he didn't go. Keyword: LESS.

There's another thing I've been wondering: what's the significance of the tower to the slender man? I believe Alex describes it as an old piece of play equipment, and it's generally believed that SM prefers to go for children. Then there's this quote from the Marble Hornets script:

The wiki also states:

So, we know Marble Hornets draws upon Alex's experiences as a child to some extent.



What I'm suggesting here is that maybe this isn't the first encounter Alex has had with the slender man. Perhaps he had an encounter as a child but survived.

This may be a bit far-fetched, but I'm almost certain the fact that the tape was hidden in some play equipment is significant.
