I lol'd. In all seriousness, I think this is what it means. TTA may make a response and Jay will "take up thy mantle".


I believe his encounter with SM pushed him over the edge from curiosity to obsession. Meeting face-to-face with the unspeakable is the best way to get in over your head. The hanging mask before J's encounter might not be a passing of the torch but a welcoming into the SM fold. We'll have to keep our eyes out for a new tweet about J's cool new mask.

 		I'm pretty sure that Jay is going to become the new Alex. Because Jay encountered Slender Man, Slender Man is going to start stalking Jay just like he started stalking Alex.

In Entry 22, Alex essentially called it quits after he came back from the basement. Jay hasn't appeared onscreen saying it, but the text at the end of Entry 23 says he's done. So unless Alex survived, it's safe to assume that Jay will suffer the same fate as Alex.

It'd be more dramatic if it was onscreen, but I doubt that'll happen. And if it does, it'll be shrouded in the distortion... assuming it's Slender Man killing off Jay.

EDIT: my mistake, I forgot something. They both called it quits after leaving the basement. Some similarities there. Something to think about.

This, I feel, is just the beginning. Whether he knows it or not, J has been following an Alex-type pattern. I'm starting to believe the theory that Alex is ToTheArk, driven mad from his encounters with Slender Man and leading J down a dangerous path. Confused

Oohhoohoo, I hope TTA responds soon.

 		I agree that he seems to be falling into the cycle Alex was in. Things are definitely going to get bad, now he'll become completely obsessed with this and something terrible will happen to him.

That is, unless its endgame.
