Where does SM go in Entry 14? He sneaks into Alex's room and walks to the left side of the room, then the camera snaps to that side of the room...but it's empty. There aren't any visible hiding places and no evidence that SM was even there. It seems like he disappears from the room once Alex starts looking for him. I think there are only two theories to explain this:

1) SM can teleport. When the light went on, SM popped out and went somewhere else. If this theory is true, it validates the possibility of teleportation in Entry 23 if it's introduced as a part of the IG world, we can't deny it could happen in other cases).

2) The SM entering the room is actually Alex. We don't know that Alex is in the room at the beginning of the entry - we are only sure that the camera and SM are in the room. Once the lights turn on, we are only sure that the camera and Alex are in the room. We know that the camera movement at 0:53 is the action of "picking up the camera" - maybe Alex picked it up once he went back to normal. The flow of the action makes sense in this context (opens door, enters room, reverts to Alex, picks up camera, closes door, changes tape).

I hope we have other theories to explain this, but I can't think of any.

Huh, I hadn't thought of the second theory.

Though we do see Alex with Slendy in numerous other films, so we could probably discount the second one on the grounds that there doesn't seem to be evidence of a transformation taking place... I mean, not directly of Alex turning INTO Slendy. Alex getting irritated and perhaps crazy (what with the film), sure, but not necessarily supernatural stuff.

So if he can teleport, I suppose you're right! Though there is still the matter of Jay losing time with his own teleportations. If Slendy can move instantly from place to place, why is it taking Jay so much time to move 'instantly' from point A to point B a few feet away?

Perhaps an example and as such more support for the "lost time" theory. Perhaps Slendy came in, did whatever it was he needed to do to Alex...and then left. But because of the effect he has over recording equipment and people's memory in general...Alex thought he was instantaneously moving the camera to the left, when in fact some time had passed.

Has the idea that Alex was suffering memory lapses as well during filming of Marble Hornets ever occured in this discussion?

This is making me wonder what the next move is. TTA responds again? Jay boards his windows up only to find evidence his house was broken into days later? I wonder if he's still taping himself?

Sunuva... XD I keep telling Jay (character) that he needs to take off for a while. He has a car, I'm assuming he's got a phone. He's obviously not doing his regular thing (school? Work?) if he's been doing nothing. Instead he wants to board himself in?

I wonder if TTA has some control over him that he doesn't even realize...? It could explain the brain mash he's feeling and the lethargy, or the lack of will to go out paired with TTA instructing (or mocking) him to stay home and be alone...
