 		@wowo: When your on that screen press the [page down] key on your keyboard and you'll see the rest of the emails. There are about 46 emails in all.

You're right about johnwilconson.com, there's been no change. If this new timeline DOES cause a change, we'll see it through energy fluctuations passed through iDGi-1, just like we did last time. I'll certainly tweet this immediately if it does happen. Something that did come to mind however; if the Johnwilconson website is still changed to look like the website sent to us by the first timeline, this MUST mean that World is still going. Henry is still functioning. If the connection with Henry is severed, we believe the website would immediately revert back to John Wilconson's snowboarding website. I think this is good news considering we haven't heard from them in a long time on our forums. Unless maybe Malcolm and Alvarez are both dead... or Malcolm is really being held captive now, with NO access to anything.

Ahh yes, two V's would definitely assume we're dealing with two different sets. Good call. As I said before, I just hope to hell this doesn't mean two more timelines to deal with in the future. Two is already more than enough, thank you very much! Wink

 		Malcolm finally replied. Looks like Henry was keeping the connection shut for some reason (would also explain our lack of response from Alvarez). Henry also showed Malcolm security footage of people supposedly using heavy weaponry to protect the compound, and told him that we've been communicating with Schelter, and that he's been telling us bad things about Malcolm. Is he trying to mess with his head, or something? If so, he's doing a good job. Malcolm sounds like he's lost a few marbles down there underground...

 		Cherrytree, great work getting that forum going! If the email batch we just got is any indication, I think we're about to start getting even deeper and probably even more complicated. We're definitely going to need a dedicated forum. I guess once it's going, we can just link this forum to that one? and move all discussion to there? This seems like a good time to work on that too, as updates are few and far between

So yea I'm definitely going to want access to help out. I'd be happy to if only to help get all this damned information out of my own head and into some kind of coherent order!

 		Yes, I, as I stated when the idea originally came up, think that a dedicated board is a good idea. However, I think that, since all discussion on E1 happened in a single thread, and E1 is now over, that we don't need a whole board on it. Same for the interlude. We just need a board for E2, and any further game sections.

I wish there were a way for us to somehow break up and export this thread into another forum, however, I'm not sure if PHPbb allows for that... Entire forums, yes, but not single threads AFAIK... As an alternative, however, I wonder if that Firefox extension, Autopager, would let us view the whole thread on one gargantuan page for our copy/pasting needs... I'll look into that if I have time.

 		I debated about adding them but I thought it was best to keep them just in case someone jumps in the game and comes out confused (which has basically happened with anyone who's just tried to read this whole thread in one go) This way we can help new players feel more welcome and comfortable.

I didn't design them to get a ton of use but they might be useful if questions need to be answered since I think there are always questions from new players.

 		Ok, yeah, I can agree to that, having jumped in only at the beginning of E2.
I'm going to look into Autopager now.

EDIT: Nope. Unfortunately can't find a rule that works with this site, and I don't understand the syntax of how to create a paging rule for a new site. Ugh... Anyone else know more about this particular add-on? Or any other ideas on how we could transfer discussions from this thread to the new site?

 		I don't know much more than how to edit the damned thing, but didn't the moderator guy a while back suggest we apply for a dedicated forum on This site? Could probably get their help to then have this thread link/cut for when Episode One ends, and people should be reading the dedicated forum and everything on that. No? May make things just easier all around.

edit: unless of course you're just better with the forum program you're using. in that case, we shouldn't use this one!

 		The reason I made the forum was because I did send a PM asking for one. I never recieved a response. So I just took it upon myself to make us one. *Shrugs*

I just thought it would make better organization with a seperate forum with no response to my PM.

 		Haven't noticed anything like that but it's been a long time since I viewed the sr files.

I'm not sure it's new but has anyone else noticed a blue little box that appears in the top left corner of the flash? It's like right beyond the window. Whenever I move my mouse it appears and jiggles the flash, and when I get close to it my mouse changes to look like I can click it but it disappears before I can catch it. (Wasn't sure if anyone else has this)

 		Found out it's got something to do with some new features on firefox (or flash) it allows me to download the flash if I wish too. (Strange feature if you ask me.)

Turns out that there has been an information blackout on their end; no sources of communication are working. It took them a week to figure out how to connect through K1 again.

His reply is short enough that I'll quote it here for convenience:

First of all, yes… the people patrolling K-1, we know about them. Some guy named Robert Crowne was reporting on the odd occurrences of people seeming to flock to Xalapa, always coming from different Guardian Camps. He counted up to a thousand, at least, and more were incoming all the time. The town has apparently been cleaned up by these people… and yes, he also took notice that every-day looking people seem to be "protecting" the K-1 facility, hundreds of them at a time. Before his reports stopped coming in (October 24th was his final post), he mentioned having tried to speak with some of these people about what they were doing – and according to Crowne, they all had the same story: they'd been paid to be in Xalapa and to guard the "base of operations." Nobody would or could tell him anything else… and then he just stopped posting. After almost three weeks of daily posts, Robert Crowne disappeared.

So you say that Melinda had something Malcolm wants? Just so we're clear, is this something you too would agree is important? Or is this something maybe we don't want Malcolm to have? If this thing is indeed important, maybe there are other alternatives to get a hold of it. Let me know.

That's interesting to hear Malcolm admits to the break-in and bugging, but still denies killing anyone. Very interesting, considering his position. I mean… he's won, hasn't he? What reason does he have to lie about any of that, anymore? By the way, don't forget to thank him for completing his goal, will you? From me? I for one am glad if he's really losing his mind down there.

Two sets of coordinates… flippin' great. I've learned to stop getting my hopes up, but maybe one of them will bring you back here? You can finally get in there and give Henry the spanking he deserves! Knowing my luck though, they'll probably take you nowhere near this world. I honestly think the "sane Henry" has pretty much given up on us.

And to your question about this mystery woman: could it be Thane Ali? I have no idea for sure if she was one of those selected for the program, but she did work with Vidal at Interdimensional Games, on that Anti-War title. Thane apparently contracted flesh-eating disease, if you can believe it, according to a doctor's report Krycek found… and the big kicker? She seems to have disappeared riiight around the time Worldview and Co. would have been recruiting for brain rejects. There's no death certificate, no missing persons report, no nothing! She just up and quit her job, stopped paying her taxes, stopped paying rent… effectively vanished into thin air and her family sure didn't appear to care much!

There was another woman, Cassandra Veng, who almost fits the description you're asking for – she worked for Vidal for a few years and was diagnosed with liver cancer almost two years back. The problem is she was just recently on the Newswire (before all this Hell on Earth shit) regarding some gangland shooting in Los Angeles… so she can't be a brain!

OK, and so to my little update. Neither of us can really explain it, but we're in the middle of what looks like a total information blackout. Every source of news or information has been cut, including a wide range of communication satellites we've been trying to communicate with – even the damned internet is down. Our hardwired connection, hooked straight into a high-end emergency system setup by the Spanish government only a year ago… is giving us nothing! The only connection we can find right now, to the outside world, is through K-1. It even took Krycek over a week just to figure how to bring that back up!

Unfortunately there isn't much else to say. The blackout has kept us in the dark, no pun intended, and we're just going to have to wait it out and hope something comes back up. I can only wonder what the hell is going on out there. Get back to us when you can… it's not like we're going anywhere anytime soon.
