 		@duke: Yes I already sent Alvarez a message over email. I did that when I first glanced at the emails this morning (forget to mention it). I have recieved no bounce back.

@sublimetime: Well after much looking around I must go with what you think that it means total progress for this timeline. (Which means this timeline is nearing it's end.)

 		oh no cherrytree, my mistake my friend. I don't often read what i write before submitting lol i didn't mean I think it's total progression for the timeline or anything like that. Not thinking we're coming to an end or anything. Hell, I had 92% on mine before I just reset it. Only thing I know I had not done on my last reset was all of the greenberg device. I did some but not all of it.

So I just mean i think the progress bar is an idgi1 feature that shows us how much of the "total game" has been completed. sooo if you have 100%, you are "caught up" and can wait until that drops to a lower number. then can go searching for what the new thing is that made it drop.

i restarted to be sure and yes, the progress bar pops up when you first hit the desktop in episode one. think it said 9% or 6% (little drunk atm) I'm going to keep going tomorrow and check the greenberg device and all that, see what i see. curious what makes it goto 100% oooor if you are right and it's messed up.

 		That's actually what I said before I edited, but I did finally get the bar to hit 100%.

From what I saw it seems the 3 of us who are ahead don't have some things added to our bars and thus their short. Not really much we can do about that I guess.

But yes restarting from the very start should give you 100% on the bar.

I kinda debated telling about his father, but I decided to anyways. I'm just afraid that when it comes to the point where he can detonate the explosives he may hesitate. (I know he didn't have a good relationship with his father, but still...)

I'm still thinking of how to approach Henry. But I should hopefully cook up something this evening.

No reply from Schelter so it may not be time for that to proceed or they're waiting for some real info and not my faked info to continue on. So I've asked Alvarez to look into it. Maybe I'll ask Henry.

 		just an update on the progress bar stuff. I finished everything EXCEPT for the Greenberg Device and was sitting at 89%. I finished the first five levels of the device and it went to 92%. So I'm ASSUMING if I keep playing, it will keep going. I just don't have the time/patience to try and beat the whole damn thing again right now! lol

And yea cherrytree, good move telling Alvarez about his father. I'm VERY curious to know what the hell is going on there. I was just reading through some of the original messages from Alvarez and some things don't add up. What if he's known all along that his father was one of the brains? Whaaat if he was originally working for the Church? They could have easily roped him into believing anything. Maybe up until his aunt got killed and he fled Cuba. Maybe we helped him realize he was maybe working for the wrong side?? I don't know, I just think his story of "oh I just haaappened to come across the Church's signal and used that to hack into Henry!" and then Malcolm just so haaaappened to connect to us and "thank" Alvarez for what he did. ALSO the fact that Alvarez's computer setup turned out to be crap (once his cousin came into play) sooooo how the hell did he ever hack into Henry with a shitty setup?? Unless he had help! Unless the Church GAVE him whatever access they wanted him to have. Whatever they wanted him to see.

That whole thing was always just a little too neat and tidy for my liking. Oh and not to mention Alvarez claimed he was hacking into his father's workplace to try and get him fired AND he said he "almost got him canned" at one point. Uhhhh, so if his father was a BRAIN by this point, wouldn't Alvarez have been able to easily see that he wasn't working anymore? And how did he get him "almost fired" iiiif he wasnt even working at all?!?! Meh, maybe I'm nuts but this whole game is about wild theories sooooo that's mine on this one! Wink

edit: maybe I should play the bad guy and accuse Alvarez of this stuff, on the forums? I have not spoken on there in ages. What do you think?

I went to the iDGi-1 site and got a Protected Area prompt (didn't it used to say restricted area?). There was, however, a screen under it which I took a screenshot of (didn't click anything though for fear of Flash cookie issues).

The "Experience" site goes to a 404, but if you click on the page you get a screen saying "iDGi-1 access error," which I also screencapped. Clicking on this screen redirects you to the main iDGi page.

 		Cool, I'm just waiting for a reply to Cherrytree first. I'm curious to first see how he'll react to what Cherrytree already said.

and so I guess this tweet and downage means some kind of intentional, in-game downtime? Some big ass energy spike?! does that mean the other side is changing things in our world again...? I don't remember the john wilconson website spike being "damaging" or anything like that, but still.

 		Sorry everyone about my absence and whatnot. I had a complete and total hard drive corruption so I lost everything and had to reinstall an older OS to the computer (which then lead to alot of head bashing with drivers but that's another story)

Luckily I copied my lovely state I made on the laptop so I'm still in buisness. (I'm still seeing if I can recover all my hard work on transcribing and stuff as the hard drive wasn't wiped in case of that.)

I have a few things to report here that I hadn't before that I'll reply to you guys.

@sublimetime: As far as know Alvarez is in the situation because of US. So if we accuse of him of being bad I find the most likely results are A)Admittance to being bad or B) Destorying our relationship with him so far. Remember this situation is the mess WE created by clearing the virus. We also have to remember the rule of parallel universes. That something will be different in each one since each one is based on different choices in the timeline. You could go ahead, but know that I'll be blasting you with all guns to make me seem like the good cop. Wink

@duke: This has been posted about before but I don't feel like trouting you at the moment. lol. You get that screen when they either A)Disabled the link to the flash file or B) You inputted the wrong password too many times. For the 404 that again was posted way back in the thread, and it happens if you try to travel to a file path that does not exist (EX: sr_011)


Now onto what I have. I had emailed Vidal with all my findings (and I knew about the spikes before you guys. heh.)

The first emails I will quote will be from when Vidal asked me why I wanted Alvarez to have the detonator.

Now onto the subject of the forums. So far I think Henry may be controlling Malcolm's communications because of security reasons? For all we know anyone could be listening in. His paranoia with us contacting Schelter seems to show that. Also about the knockout I would almost bet that the Church is behind it. I would think they would have the best position to gain from it. (If you remember the blogger who went missing after reporting about the troops outside the facility)

I don't know why he wanted us to know about the troops that the Church sent. It does seem strange but the info isn't enough for me to make a really good conclusion on it.

I won't get too much into my opinion of the things you've said, because I mostly agree with you across the board. Just a couple things I wanted to add. First, the Alvarez email - abooout that. We've been getting intermittent spikes for almost two weeks now. Yea. They've been coming in at random times, random levels, about 4-7 per day. I don't plan to tweet or go public with this until we determine why it's happening. So, I guess this means the answer to your question is: I don't know if your email has caused a spike!

The forums! I just wanted to throw in my point of view on the latest post from "Henry." It's that Geas guy, no doubt about it. The entire message is from him. The main message seems to be from him, but possibly speaking for the other brains as well? He mentions Ace on two separate occasions in the main message and the "we welcome them" or "he is still with us" or "we're making the world a better place" make me think he's speaking for the collective as well. And then the parts that are scrambled are still Geas I believe, but possibly memories? Like the memories in the Greenberg Device? Two of the scrambled parts mention his "brother," and a third even says Ace in it.

I don't want to speculate too much until we know more, but I think these Geas brothers could be more trouble than Malcolm realizes. One of the memories for this guy stated they have incredibly high IQs between the two of them. Malcolm most likely thinks he's got them under control but he could be very, very wrong and this plan of his could backfire horrendously. Ultimately I just think the Geas brothers are bad news and any control they may have within Henry is NOT GOOD. His memories alone prove he's not a, let's say, healthy individual.

I think you're right about the forum world's fate; they don't have any positive options open to them. Ultimately it sounds like the best option would be to get rid of both the Guardians AND Henry. Right? I mean, let the people rebuild themselves like we've always done. If they get a hold of that detonator, then yea - it's either destroy Henry and let the Guardians do whatever they plan to do... or wait and see if Henry can take down the Guardians first, before blowing him up. But then what's to stop more Guardians from taking their place, right after Henry is destroyed? Or of course the worst case scenario would be they "join forces." /shudder, let's not think about that.

Alright my friend, I've got to go. I can't say I'm not intentionally taking my time before going home tonight, but I can't wait any longer! Wink I think it's Snoopy's Christmas and A Muppet's Christmas Carol tonight. Sigh. If I don't hear from you before, have an excellent Christmas! And better yet, a Happy New Year!

 		Faaair enough cherrytree! You do make a great point. If I DO decide to go ahead and say something to Alvarez then I will make clear I'm working "outside of everyone else" and that nobody else believes in me lol ill be very careful. I just can't get over some of what he said at the beginning. it just doesnt make sense to current info unless alvarez is a total moron!

Excuse my absense from the forum but I have been busy working on my third installment of my own ARG (Previous two ARGs in case u r interested were: Missing Wallace and Mr Kat is Dead, see my unfinished inside look:http://oneyearmuse.wikidot.com/missing-wallace )

Sublimetime pm'd me and asked my thoughts on current events. Just read the last ten pages and what is on the IDG forums too.

It would seem that your incredible hard work boils down to a few simple points:

    Henry appears have soften the world up..
    Did the Macolm motivate Henry towards the attacks...(The Church obviously wanted Henry destroyed)
    Guardians turn up on cue to save the day (Their ability to travel via light reminds me of K-Pax)
    Both Henry and the Guardians purport to hate one another
    Yet neither side attack one other
    Why are these safe zones safe?
    Aliens in suits, curious as to how they were tested to be aliens if they cannot leave their suits
    Henry's apparent sentience is hardly surprising considering all the brains, I believe I mentioned this to Greenburg awhile ago. He stated that it could not happen, looks like he was wrong
    The motor-chip (sounds very like the film: Gamer) is probably the keystone

Okay maybe more that few Wink

It is shame that Malcolm is effectively dead he was such fun.

 		PM's seem to have either noticed the error themselves or recieved my email. Thank you for fixing the bug! Especially on a weekend!

Henry's Side:

We get another message from Henry but slightly corrupted by the Geas brain. He's looking for Ace and is ready to accept him. That's concerning. Also it would seem that Henry has added a sort of chatbot function now.
To access it you need to grab the stick figure and throw him into the hole. It's amusing since it's under construction and so it has a limit to responses.

There are 4 new Jess Chard pages and so I'll get to reading and transcripting shortly. No new emails this time.

From what Vidal said it sounds like we should have a full set by now. Currently i'm still looking but I only have 19 right now.

Church's Side:

Malcolm now says they are again almost ready to turn the 21 brains on Henry. He has also added a file that contains audio from Greenburg about the motor chip. The folder is the mirror opposite of the Kevin folder. The A.I. or chatbot is the same as before and accessed the same way.
