Posting again for another update.

The connection has been working out for Vidal and they have been getting images from the other side. You can view them on the corporate blog.

At least we now have a name to that logo we saw at the end of the teaser video. The Consortium (not that it helps much)

Also there was a hidden line in the transcript of the report:

My thoughts: Perhaps the consortium is a future Worldview? K-1 has been represented by a bishop in the past (perhaps he's gone wacko and is controlling the bishops, and maybe other "pieces?") and the mission report mentions "Schelter" at the end.

Also, note the fact that the failed profit was in a trance for exactly 21 minutes. Again that number seems significant.

cool, yay for updates. I'm personally curious about this Keiran Boyle guy. If that surveillance doc is correct then he's a bad guy. what is his role in things? if he is related to Alannah (the girl from the video) then is Alannah bad too? arrgghh!!

hahah and check this out (this was found and posted on these forums by someone a looong time ago and I bookmarked it. apparently the c.e.o. guy for idgi was pretty involved with this Amen game) http://www.tauniverse.com/cavedog/amen/index.shtml - notice the date under in-game story line?? I thought it sounded familiar when reading that prophet article. internal joke or something maybe??

two little note worth making. 1> the mission report one has an interesting line: "I believe our mutual appreciation for the light is helping a bond form more quickly..." the light as in the Guardian Church? so the church is involved with this consortium in some way maybe? more arrrggghhh! Wink

and 2> who is Dr. S. Boyle??? we know a Keiran and an Alannah Boyle now, but not an "S" Boyle.

To anyone still playing this, i need help. Ive been playing this for a bit now and got stuck. What happened is I did the greensburg device part and clicked the save fil, but then something odd happened. After Henry threw me out, and i got back to the home page, I noticed that I'm missing the button for the device yet i have access to the satellite. I don't know what caused it but any help is appreciated!

I'm going to assume you meant you finished the greenburg device just now? After you finish the Greenburg device first time around your not allowed to play it anymore. You just have to proceed to Part 2 of the ARG.

Heya jdude104. sounds like one of two problems to me 1> you greenberg device symbol is gone because you beat it and you just haven't been to www.idgi1.net yet which is odd because the anomaly should redirect you there after part 1 or episode 1 or whatever. this begins the second episode. or 2> the greenberg device symbol is gone and you're able to access the other world from the anomaly on the main site. this then sounds like your browser cookies have been reset. you say you "have access to the satellite" so you are re-accessing episode one??

@Jdude104: It sounds like you just completed Part 1. You need to click on the anamalous stars on the main site to activate the greenburg device and continue on. After you complete the Greenburg Device just use your passphrase and import the cords.

i think you only have to beat one level in the greenberg device for it to unlock the 'import greenberg device' button on idgi1.net. last time i played through I only played 2 or 3 levels before checking and it unlocked.

Feel free to fish-slap me, but is there a concise wiki that I can catch up with? 107+ pages is one heck of a slog...

Currently, I'm at only 8% stuck at the desktop screen after having just finished the hangman thing and now have a stickfigure running around the desktop staying away from my mouse pointer (I'm trying to herd it up to the eye thingerwhere the mini-file was tucked.
