On that subject, I reckon we should make a wiki page for each audio file where people can edit in their findings on what they hear, so we can see if we're getting the same stuff. I was starting to do this in a notepad file a few pages back but we're getting so many new files so often, that are so scrambled, it started to become too big a job for just me.

That's smart, I hadn't thought of that. I've already made a page for most of the characters we've encountered. The more people that help out on the wiki though, the more this will make sense, I'm sure.

Now that things are starting to heat up a little more, I think this would be a good time to plug the irc channel I made at #iDGi, so we can discuss theories etc.

Thanks. Soundbooth 2.0 has and awesome interface for pitch and speed, but no reverse. I used audacity for that. I will try and keep up with all the new sound files as we get them from here on out, and hopefully I can go over the earlier ones eventually. It just takes time.

There is so much to keep up with. How do you seasoned ARG veterans keep stuff organized?

at the very least I've already written out (and still stand by!) what Ive heard for the first 18 clips: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28896&start=165 --- Im still working them out every few days on a white board but am rather leaning toward waiting to get them ALL before I really dig into them again.

I'm also very, very new to ARGs myself - since starting this one, I've been lurking through a few other neat ones on these forums but not really following them. I think this story is going to continue spinning into a million different directions and so the Wiki audiomarine was nice enough to start up will definitely come in handy with this... http://interdimensionalgaming.wikia.com/wiki/IDGi_Wiki

I agree they will be understand better once we have them all. I am looking at adding to the wiki as soon as I get time. I remember reading about that page in earlier posts now that you said something.

I have lurked in a few ARGs myself, but never really participated until now.

I don't want to badger Henry, and My Name Is Not Important with too many questions at once, but I'm very puzzled as to why MNISNI (appearing to represent The Church) would warn us about trusting Henry, and why Henry would then say we can trust The Church. I'm starting to wonder if Henry can explicitly lie, or if he can only be misleading.

Check out the comments from Nevyrmoore.

This may provide even more insight into the background behind what we're dealing with, then again, maybe not.

I just found this forum today so I figured I share some of what I've found. I apologize if this has been mentioned already but it's a bit jarring going from the iDGi forums to finding all this information.

The dates from the audio files are starting to repeat. When we try to unscramble the conversations this'll narrow it down some. I don't know how many more files there are, but there hasn't been a new date since #18.

Also, without spoiling anything, has anyone figured out the new "clue" on the computer? I've finished the puzzle and have a word but no idea where to use it.

Yea I would recommend ordering the audio files together by date on the wiki.

Also, I did the newest 'puzzle' also (the one that starts after you click on the panicky man). It took me a while to figure out but this is what I did:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

For the _LASTWORD_ box, I put in "church" since that was the last word in the last GIF message that we got.

This sent me to another hangman-like game, only instead of a hangman there was a picture of a burning house, for some reason. But, I liked the fact that it also kept track of your incorrect guesses on the side. Anyway, the solution to mine turned out to be CHARD. (I'm suspecting that everyone's different). The word CHARD now appears on my desktop, but I don't know what to do with it either.

Just did the new hangman thing that Wowo described and my word was freedom, which now appears on my desktop too.

Edit: We're up to 50 audio files now, can't be bothered to check them right now.

This is the first time I've been able to see the panic man. Anyways, my word was "courage".

My word was Chipsat.

EDIT: has anyone been to projectb6.com today? When i went there, as i rolled over the symbols, their english translation would get scribbled in that same handwriting from Employee 1195's blog. Was it doing this before?

Yeah, that's the way it's always been. No ones 100% sure if that links to the one that calls us seeker (we can't even be 100% that's Henry, in my opinion) but the assumption is that it's the same thing.

Also, I'm not sure if this is anything, but I messed around with the colours on the blog directory screen since I saw some weird lines on the green part, and yeah, looks like nothing to me but you know how it is with ARG's, anything could be anything.

Like I said, looks like nothing, but who knows. I just messed around with the colouring to get the lines to be bolder.

EDIT: Oh, and my word was builder.

My word was aether (which led to a bunch of useless clicking back on the space page). Anyway, I've been writing down all the files and dates so don't worry about arranging all 50 yourself. I've never done a wiki entry before so if someone could make it for me I'll PM you the information. Yeah, I know it's easy to do but it'll go faster with someone who's familiar with the format.

My word (or name?) was "Taryn".

Something too for anyone confused -- on the "did you get my _lastword_?" screen... you can click on _lastword_ and it will then let you replay the old hangman game. Whatever word you get from that, can be entered into the "did you get my _lastoword_" screen and it will then open the new (quite frankly creepy as hell) "hangman" game.

The picture that draws in is very interesting too... huge sun, house on fire, people pointing to the sun, question mark at the end of one of the peoples hands??? bizarro.
