Henry is freaking out.... Check ipaddresser. Not sure how to reply to any of it, the update came up at an unusual time.

Everything he typed were anagrams, not too hard to see what he meant.

So, we have a new character, Kevin to look out for, as long as I read it right. Also seems like Henry had a bit of an existential crisis >.<

Wiki updated with the new dates. I'm going to try to arrange some audio into a conversation. I don't know how many new files there'll be, but there should be enough now to get something.

Right, have updated the audio file page and put all the dates on the Ordered By Date section as headings, and written out the full filename for each (e.g. 0xx0<whatever>). That way we can skip to any date we like with the contents at the top, plus I can link the audio files listed here to their individual pages.

Next on my to-do list: make individual pages for each audio file so that we can start to add in what we think is being said to each one.

Edit: ...Made the pages for 0xx01-0xx010, but the repetitiveness was getting to me. Razz I'll add more as and when I can be bothered, but if anyone wants to help out I'd appreciate it. If you do though, do this:

Go to one of my existing pages, you can find them from the links on the Audio Files page. Click "Edit page" and copy the layout.

Click on the "Create a new article" link on the main menu on the left side, type in the filename for the next file (make sure its EXACTLY how its written on the Audio Files page, including 0xx0 and any underscores (_), or else the link from that page won't work), select the "Blank page" option and click okay.

Paste the layout from before and change the relevant parts (e.g., for 0xx011, make sure it says "0xx011 is the eleventh..." etc.)

The only reason I'm asking that is because I'm a stickler for organisation and my perfectionism would force me to go and edit the layout of pages to standardize them, if each page was made differently, and I really don't feel like doing that if I don't have to. Razz

Also, when I downloaded each audio file I removed it from its original filepath and placed it in a new location - if any of you still have your files in their original folders, I think it'd be a good idea to edit the filepath into the page for each audio file (before the speculation section) just so that we have it documented.

I like the new layout! Was never that good at organization myself... Anyway, like I said in my last post, I've started to (or try to) piece together the conversations. However, since we don't have all the files yet I've been separating each part into it's own mp3. I was thinking about making a new section on the audio for the dates themselves. I don't have time right now but it'd be something like:

March 1

pieces are reduced to ash
with any luck tonight

And so on for each segment. Let the community help assemble the puzzle. What do you think?

good idea, but you might save yourself some work if you wait until the audio stops coming. On the other hand we might be able to make sense of these pieces a little better if they're put together like that.

Yeah, I thought of that, but then again I'm glad I started writing down the dates from the beginning. After the backlog of 30 it was just a couple per day instead of the 52 had I done it now, or who knows how many when their done.

There is another IP address in this text file as well.

12.127.31.129

On IP addresser:

Quote:

Henry
I am feeling much better now. Sometimes my body gets sick and I become confused.

And there is one in Be.zip, with the files 36 - 39.

151.63.224.43

On IP addresser:

Quote:

Henry
t hold back from inflicting it.

2.1.2010 1:05AM
Henry
You must stop entering my world. You deserve pain for being so cruel and I can

2.1.2010 1:04AM
Henry
Whoever you are, wherever exactly you come from

Also, someone asked what ComSat meant. I think it is one of the satellites from the beginning. Stands for communication satellite.

My word was: philihy

Whatever that means.

@ John_Galt: sorry I completely misunderstood your last post! I just re-read it, and think that is excellent idea; I'll start that immediately!

@Audiomarine, I've got the transcript (if you can call it that) for two of the dates so far. I'm a little busy so it's slow going now but I can finish the rest today. How do you think I should organize it? I've put a "B" for the British voice and an "H" for the higher pitched male, but I think some might get this confused with Henry. When I finally put all this up (rather do it all at once) I'll link the mp3 containing the quote so others can try to figure out the fuzzy bits.

I wouldn't bother writing down what the distinct voices are, because I don't think they are different. Its quite easy to slightly change the pitch of your voice to make it sound like a different one - some machinima makers do this when they have no voice actors other than themselves to make characters sound different. If you fiddle with the pitch of the deeper voice, you can make it sound near identical to the higher voice, and vice versa.

I personally think there are two different people, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's just the one. It's the accents that separate them. I've already done a few dates with two voices and I'm too OCD to stop now.

EDIT: Well maybe I'm wrong. File 16 has both voices talking back to back (H-today was like yesterday, B-and the day before that) and the accents are pretty similar. Oh, well.
