I've got 5 unique computers of my own I can log on with (Yes, I'm a massive geek), and my apartment complex has a free wireless network with dynamic IP address assignment, so no matter what the site is using to track progress, that gets around it and lets me play multiple times. I'm also using my roommate's computers, for a total of 10 unique computers and IP addresses. Once I run out of those, I plan to go the library on campus and use those computers Very Happy

I'm not sure how the website is tracking progress of each user (Pretty sure it's not cookie-based), maybe via IP address+something else? If someone else could answer more definitely maybe we could figure out a way for each person to play more than once and get data faster.

Irkr,
http://www.nmichaels.org:8080/hangsolve.py
Might help the morning hangman solving go a little faster. Also, I'll see if I can get on my roomates computers tonight and get some new words.

By the way, does anybody have an ideas yet about what we're going to use these answers for? I'm guessing they'll be the answer to some sort of cypher or password later.

Crunk, that link is fantastic. Definitely sped things up. Using that, I broke each one as far down as I could, then deliberately failed, so I could try again. Got us a few new words:) Accidentally just solved on this computer, so I'll have to go to my last backup computer for the next run, which I'll probably do either tomorrow/friday, whatever, 'cause I've been spending WAY too much time working on this and need to get some real work done. Also, Henry must think I'm an idiot

New Words! The number to the left is the number of times I ran into them.
For all of these words, I typed in "beware" as the last word to get into the second level of hangman. I think we may want to take note of what word leads to what final solution, especially if this ends up being a code of some sort.

I swear, my last post for a while....probably Saturday or so....Stumbled upon this while screwing around. You can type in "http://______(INSERTWORDHERE).interdimensionalgames.com" and it SEEMS to treat it as a unique logon. NO idea why. also, https://www.interdimensionalgames.com works as well, though I get a warning from my browser about the security certificate being from gridserver (the hosting solution the site is using).

I have no clue if this is significant or not.

Also verified a few more words
from "lost" I got binary
from "escape" I got tar_n

edit: same thing works on project b6 website. No apparent restriction on it being a word either, random characters work.

I was starting to wonder

Okay, they uploaded a bunch of new files....5 new zips, leading to two new links, one new gif, and a bunch of audio files.

Summary:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Some texts files in the zip files again (more threats, edit: plus links in sublime's post)

Links are:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvd3kaupZ60 (Spaceballs)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOulIZhEOt8 (American History X)

So Henry's taste in cinema is as bipolar as his taste in music.

I haven't translated the GIF yet (don't know if I'll have time to for a while either, unless someone else can get it) is in a series of zips claiming that the guardians are a fairytale and contains a new IP address for us http://www.ipaddresser.com/search.php

something's going to happen soon maybe?

side note: do we have a comprehensive list of what letters go with which symbols? I only found ones in the thread that seemed incomplete. Maybe I'm just tired.[/spoiler]

(hah you JUST beat me to it Irkr!!)

Four of those new .txt files have new IPs within them as well. He is talking to the Church now through the .txt files, as well as asking us bizarre questions. Those two youtube videos were given to us by two different paths, here is what I've found:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Do you like to laugh.txt (spaceballs scene) - 22.183.32.8 hidden
Do you like to cry.txt (american history X scene) - 17.249.160.19 hidden

Also some other paths:

I know you are there.txt (inside .txt is says "... so get out!") and then another hidden IP address within: 123.62.32.84

The Guardians are a fairytale.gif (inside .gif we have 217.82.113.81)
... and you-know-it.

It seems to me he could be talking directly to the Church here? Both the above messages could be directed at them. Why tell us he knows we are there?? we already know he knows!

and another, "You're here and then not.txt" (inside .txt it says "... so which of them do you go back to?") hidden IP inside not.txt: 212.160.224.13

all new ip links:
http://www.ipaddresser.com/search.php/22.183.32.8
http://www.ipaddresser.com/search.php/17.249.160.19
http://www.ipaddresser.com/search.php/123.62.32.84
http://www.ipaddresser.com/search.php/217.82.113.81
http://www.ipaddresser.com/search.php/212.160.224.13

I'll throw these into the Wiki as well. A few interesting bits of info from the Guardian Children.

Bah, that's what I get for looking at these things on 10 hours of sleep in two days:p Nice catch on the IP addresses in the txt files.

I have a kind of translation guide that I've made, which I tried to include in my previous post. This is what the new gif says:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
YOU MUST NOT LISTEN
TO THEM

YOU MUST TRUST
ME

[I added the bold because it looks that way on the gif.. Henry crazy.]

interesting new Twitter as well: "some of you are returning from the other side with an unusual audio file. Please inform me immediately if you receive it!" EDIT: he just changed it, added the word "unusual" in the line. lol. I guess he realized we have been getting audio files for two months! hahah

Anyone know what he's talking about though??

Maybe the new audio files we've got? They're changing...the laughing/music seems new...maybe they link together? I'm still listening to them in raw form.

This audio is different. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but the new voices saying the dates is definitely significant. I think Henry is starting to understand who we are. That is to say he is sending messages directly to us and bypassing Desertch and the rest of the idgi-1 team. Whether that's correct or not, this new voice is sign that he's somehow evolved. I'll make a note on the Audio Files page of the date and file number when the change started.

Alright, updated the dates with new audio and the puzzle is starting to come together. The bits and pieces are finally forming sentences that are very interesting to say the least. Check out the last few entries for both B and H here.

There were two files I couldn't decipher though. Can anyone make out #66 (forward part) and #67? They've got drums playing like when Henry was learning about music, but now that the quality (and bass) if better I can't make out anything.

Kickass sir! yeah, it is starting to take shape for sure. Your excellent uploads are making it muuuch easier!! I dicked around with Audacity a bit, playing with the volumes and such. I think I can make our something for 66 & 67:

#66 Forward: "... trust me or something" (this one is really tough to hear)
Backward: "... (I again?) couldn't get any response from Henry"

#67 Forward: "can't believe how attached (i find?) myself to this project"
Backward: "Henry is not who he seems to be"

what do you think?

Fiddled around with my speakers and managed to get those last files up. Your transcripts helped a ton, sublimetime. *cough* copy&paste *cough*

Still can't hear the quiet part with these crappy speakers. I think there's one broken wire inside the cable that has to be at just the right angle to fix the connection, so once I got it in the perfect spot I taped it down which seemed to fix it but then again sometimes the jack will spin and break the connection so maybe if I...
