Here is something else I don't understand.. what do you mean? All I see there are the two files.. bottom right of what?

I think the problem is that the pms have made it so variable that when something happens we aren't sure whether it's supposed to happen that way or not. i honestly still don't really understand how you guys got this stuff or whether it was 'intended' to be that way. I'm just along for the ride lol

she means the all the characters in the bottom right string of characters on the projectb6.com page work as access usernames and passwords for the link she listed.

I meant the symbols in the bottom right section of the project b6 page. Sorry for missing that detail; I thought I had typed it in when I didn't.

I didn't mean that you were cheating or anything. It's just that after lrkr (not calling you out either) found how to start as a new user there was a whole run-around to get to the notepad that some people got automatically. Sorry for any misunderstanding. Embarassed

Hey, that's all right, John. If you were here, we'd spit in our hands and shake on it.

No offense taken. I'd actually prefer it if someone told me whether or not I was engaging in questionable activities (with respect to the game:P), as this is my first ARG. I'm really mostly a problem junkie.

Nobody did anything wrong. I fear this snowballed way out of proportion. If anything it's me. The ARG I did before this was extremely complex (they bounced a radio transmission off the moon) and there was no way that you could do anything that wasn't built into it. The address hacking (if you can call it that) just made me a little nervous is all.

Considering how much trouble we're having just with Henry now, that might be a good point.

hey sorry i didn't get back with a response last night, I had band practice late.
but i feel really bad because i lost/forgot my word from the second hangman so i can't get past the keyword check

but all i ever tried was the two games of hangman (that i completed) and then that was it, all i could do.

and that bouncing signal stuff was a cutoff ending, it could have been better i think

Hey, don't apologize for real life. I was up until 1:50 'cause I got sucked into the stupid puzzles, and then, because I put off work i had to wake up at 6:10.......I've made better decisions.

Edit: On a separate note, has anyone tried any data processing on the huge image (sr_03) or the audio file we got? I've got nothing so far, aside from the stuff we found already.

Okay, I'm working with stegdetect and jseek....stegdetect thinks it is stegged, via jphide, though I've hear it can give false positives. I've guessed some passwords, to no luck. Any ideas?

I'm a jerk Chezzo, my bad Sad In my defense though, I did ask if I could say that yet!! I didn't aaaactually say it!... ahem... yeeeah!

Kickass job on finding that IP! I'll bet you probably found it far quicker than the PM intended which would explain why we can't do anything with it yet. And as John said, nobody did anything wrong!! From what I understand from reading various ARGs on here is that the main focus is finding the most fine, extremely "hidden" details and exposing them. Which is exactly what we've been doing. Even the "address hacking" you found is nothing bad. If it's possible, I say do it!!!

My only concern is that now so many of us have switched words through the address thing, I'm worried nobody's going to get the other 3 missing documents when they become available! at least nobody vocal Sad

Also that 404 error page, nobody actually said it so: you can click the screen and it gives you an "IDGI-1 Access Error" screen. Pretty cool little detail!

Oh and ummm, I live in Canada myself but (lol) it's a pretty huge place up here! Where 'bouts was this house the IP directed you to??

You can get all 6 files yourself sublimetime. It's the same way Chezzo got the IP pictures, just replace the numbers in the address of the download. The 3 we have gotten through the notepad contain one file each (two pictures and the audio). If you go to the directory (by changing the address) then you'll see the parts to the IP picture.
