I think it's fine. If they stopped all the alternate addresses from working then why wouldn't they close the directories? I don't know much about HTML or hosting websites, but Chezzo mentioned earlier that directories are locked by default so they must be open for a reason.

Not a clue about the movie though.

I'm struggling with the "say a letter" aspect, I see that it allows the number of letters listed on the scrap of paper you get after clicking on the stick figure. But I can't figure out what it wants for that number of letters.

ETA: You know what. Never mind.
About once a week I come back to try and figure it out but there's just something about how it's all coded that makes it too frustrating to try and figure out. No real consistent reward to let you know if you're "doing it right".

I just spent an hour visiting all kinds of cool graphical worlds, but don't have a clue how I was navigating through them all.
Eventually I did the "end" thing and now I don't know how to get TO the anomaly, anymore.

go here: http://interdimensionalgames.com/cont/sr_01/ . you can replace the sr_01 with other numbers up to sr_010. All of these directories, including the "cont/sarahk" and "cont/birth" were where the recent stuff we've got from the other dimension have been downloaded from. It looks like the .idgi1 files can be opened in notepad and are filled with mostly coded spam and junk (typical email spam I personally receive at work every damn day). To quote irkr: "Henry has discovered the core of the internet". That seems to be what this is and does not look very important. Just an easter egg with a couple neat little things like the youtube link and that weird line "21 days for VD 63 seconds for me" thrown in.

and yeah it is weird the youtube video link is found within the /sarahk/ folder. As Irkr said, there could be a message somewhere in that trip fest of a video related to her death.

sorry for my little freakout last night.. I just find this game very confusing and frustrating even though at the beginning I thought that I was following along pretty well. but then things stopped working for me and I have no notepad and I can't always get into these directories.

I have seen the binary stuff and the other hex/base64 now although most seems like useless garbage.


I still don't know how you fond /cont/sarahk or /cont/birth/

well not guessing... /sarahk/ is where the news article with the building picture (sarah drowns in spanish) was downloaded from and /birth/ is where the K1 Hardware Activation form was downloaded from.

Also yeah, that piece of spam mentioned 2000 as the future and I think a few of the other spam have random dates on them as well. I think he's found a cache of old and new spam and those folders are literally a dump for them all. I've actually read a similar version to that "anti-spam spam" letter years ago and I think all he did was replace the original name with Henry.
